I've already watched this video like 100 times, but I can't seem to stop going through all the install videos, and this one keeps popping up - lol - Awesome Fabrication work!!! Love the progress! -
Wow... Those amps really are a work of art. I really wish I could afford one of those 4 channel amps.. It'd totally blow away the Alpine 4 channel amp I have right now. Keep it coming, can't wait to see and hear the truck when you're done!
nope. No problems. Also, im not running them side by side or any of that but sooner or later they have to get near eachother because i have to eventually plug them into the amp LOL :D
Nice video, great wiring. Can't wait to see the video of the finished system, it has to be crazy if it's worth all this trouble upgrading from the previous one.
@Max1636 nope.....i have zero engine noise. Got lucky this time LOL - Engine noise is the Devil!!! hahah Running all your positives and all your neg's to ONE SPOT is the key to a noise free system though. It looks like a lot of stuff but its a lot of stuff in the same spot.
just to clear it up with you, there is 2 voice coils on each of my subs....the amps are NOT connected to eachother in any way. There is one amp on each voice coil. This is big boy stuff bro, keep watchin my vids i will show you a few things ;)
@ThePencilShredder i dont know how to upholster per-say. I am good at wrapping things and getting creative when i have to - but i cant sew at all. Never tried. I need to learn :D
Madness I tell ya, madness. It looks so delicious. I run 4 1000/1 slashes off distribution blocks with 4 13.5 w7s, all jl, of course, and u makin me look super lazy. Lol. Nice work brother
. Man the work and concepts you come up with are outstanding bruh and I'm a seacoast music but so the E-40 , broths Lynch, and spice 1 to name a few make watching your videos even better..... I realize these are old videos but just found the channel .... Keep up the good work mane!
Man, I'm just getting excited watching, and I must say, you're a luck man Steve. I was wondering though, what did you use to join all the RCA cables from the amps into one? I used a simple 1to2 splinter cable before when I had 2 amps, but are you using a special mixer or something? Anyway, nice work, I'm a fan.
DAMN I Still can't believe you did this ALL in your home Garage.... I got so used to the shop recently that i forgot about the beginning video's Awesome! so glad for your hard work and success is paying off! BTW are you still working your day job? or were you able to do YT full time? maybe not considering the family..
@TDMaudio with sub amps it doesnt matter cuz the alternator frequencies are so high you cant hear them through the subs. also, i think the rf 360's he hooks up to them have a feature to cancel whine.
my god thats looking bomb i was gonna go with an all alpine for my amp and sub but now im gonna get a rockford sub and amp thanks for the vids their bomb
Same here man! The 0/0 power//grnd speakes for it's self.. and the large Speaker wire is just a really good idea.. but how much of a difference does the low gauge REMOTE wire make? Unless I am just seeing it wrong, and its regular. N.
you da man steve it works great and almost finished, id love to hear these things play, couldnt you have hooked a speaker to one of the amps while you tested your ipod on it?
check that you have wired it correctly, also take the fuse out and re-wire it then put the fuse in and see if that makes a difference, or are you sure you have the correct fuse for the cable?
the power from the head unit is just to turn the amp on. there isnt actually any power being drawn from it once your amp is on. your head unit is dimming because your amp is drawing more amps from your battery than your alternator can put back. so to fix this problem... high output alt, or a second or bigger battery.
damn that shits looking badass looks like a lot of work 2 can you imagine if he had to pay someone to do all this for him. man truely badass system thou especially those fans
Are you using dry cell batteries? I have never seen those batteries your using before, are they some kind of brand used by car audio nuts? Not real big into bass anymore but came across your channel and realized more people are into it now than ever before.
Damn these are Sick, How much do these Rockfords Retail for? I am assuming they are Rockfords best, I just wondered why you don't sport heavyweights D9s or any other highend lesser known companies. Also i like the cooling fans Idea. Something I would do so the HS gets cooled in a tight space. What do you do? Just pos lead them to the remote wire and then ground it them? Just wondering whats the easiest too avoid interfence or static cause I am gonna do the same.
NExt time you want to give someone a demo, or you wanna freak someone out. Play the song emmure - the key to keeping the show fresh is im dead. Their is a little intro, and a HUGE HUGE HUGE Bass drop, i play it in my friends car and it sounds sick, i would love to see the reactions from the song being played in your car. Also Tech N9ne - Wheaties is sick. Yours truly, Chris.
i agree with you on that....the amps would not only be pushing power into the sub ...but the amp would be pushing power into each other as well.....yeah i thank thats a bad idea...
Looking great Steve! To bad the four T2500.1's are tucked away under the box :(. But What the hell, as long as they perform Its all good. Peace out from the Netherlands \m/
it all looks nice but i know way too many people that are a lot louder than him for me to really be impressed. meade is all about looks and he's good at it, no doubt, but im a numbers guy. its all car audio and its all for fun.
I've already watched this video like 100 times, but I can't seem to stop going through all the install videos, and this one keeps popping up - lol - Awesome Fabrication work!!!
Love the progress! -
Keep it up my man! - Your making me get all sentimental about your system - I feel like I'm right there with you
Wow... Those amps really are a work of art. I really wish I could afford one of those 4 channel amps.. It'd totally blow away the Alpine 4 channel amp I have right now. Keep it coming, can't wait to see and hear the truck when you're done!
you are serious about this system...this is a dream system for me. You give me something to thrive for, THANK YOU...ONE
nope. No problems. Also, im not running them side by side or any of that but sooner or later they have to get near eachother because i have to eventually plug them into the amp LOL :D
Nice video, great wiring. Can't wait to see the video of the finished system, it has to be crazy if it's worth all this trouble upgrading from the previous one.
i wish they would do a "rides" show or something on discovery about these builds you do. these are crazy. cant wait till the next vid.
@Meadewannabe There's a nice little chart put out by American Wire Gauge. Amps vs. Gauge per foot. I'm sure this guy knows that.
4 hidden and 8 showing....not too bad! I hear you though!
just to clear it up with you, there is 2 voice coils on each of my subs....the amps are NOT connected to eachother in any way. There is one amp on each voice coil. This is big boy stuff bro, keep watchin my vids i will show you a few things ;)
Damn! I'm getting the jitters from excitement!!!
@ThePencilShredder i dont know how to upholster per-say. I am good at wrapping things and getting creative when i have to - but i cant sew at all. Never tried. I need to learn :D
well, you are a rookie and know nothing about hooking multiple amps to single subs. I dont expect you to be able to take on something like this.
Those New Rockford Amps are very nice indeed.
You make putting power wire in the amp terminals look so easy! Haha I always seem to struggle with that
i wish both of those were true! i got ONE of the loudest and im still rollin middle class......but feelin good bro! :)
yes
Madness I tell ya, madness. It looks so delicious. I run 4 1000/1 slashes off distribution blocks with 4 13.5 w7s, all jl, of course, and u makin me look super lazy. Lol. Nice work brother
nope not worried at all. Its not hot air, its MOVING air.
love these long movies steve love your work man.keep it up.
. Man the work and concepts you come up with are outstanding bruh and I'm a seacoast music but so the E-40 , broths Lynch, and spice 1 to name a few make watching your videos even better..... I realize these are old videos but just found the channel .... Keep up the good work mane!

oh duhhhh hahah, my bad! they are 2/0 and 1/0 - thats zero and double zero if you dont know :)
all ur cables are nice and thick and its neat also steve..

Do you worry about interference from the power wires to the line/speaker cables at all Steve?
looking real good Steve. keep up the work!!

Cant Wait Till This Truck Gets Done Man, Great Work Man 5☆
Man, I'm just getting excited watching, and I must say, you're a luck man Steve.

Anyway, nice work, I'm a fan.
that's pretty neat like that to basically rebuild a car. I have a winner comment to post oni the first video of this new system when it's bumpin.
@trujay2 mmmmmmmmmif i had to guess, i would say 550-600lbs. Takes 2 CONFIDENT people with a good grip to get it out :)
bad ass! cant wait for the next vid. good job steve
DAMN I Still can't believe you did this ALL in your home Garage.... I got so used to the shop recently that i forgot about the beginning video's Awesome! so glad for your hard work and success is paying off! i dont know what to say...theres no words to explain how good your setup looks brotha!!...*****5+ stars!!!!...
@meade916 how heavy do you think the box loaded is?? and how many guys would it take to lift it you think?? lol i love your system man.
Never know what you will get when my ipod is shuffling :D :D
Same here man!
The 0/0 power//grnd speakes for it's self.. and the large Speaker wire is just a really good idea.. but how much of a difference does the low gauge REMOTE wire make?

you da man steve it works great and almost finished, id love to hear these things play, couldnt you have hooked a speaker to one of the amps while you tested your ipod on it?
Those are som sick cables!
Nice video steve. Keep up the good work.
check that you have wired it correctly, also take the fuse out and re-wire it then put the fuse in and see if that makes a difference, or are you sure you have the correct fuse for the cable?
Yo Steve im getting really excited and cant wait till that beast breathes..
You should seal the wire hole when your done so theres no issie with air circulation, clear caulk or something would be perfect
yoo steve i really like your work and style keep up da good work
@shaynecsmith520 i did
When are you gonna have a Cable TV show on doing systems. This is the biggest Epic Builds ever!!!!
that should be a pretty good setup man,wut kind of car are you putting it in?
man dude i hate when the videos end lol i wanna keep seein the work get done!
Only you Meade could have me watch someone else wire some stuff and not get bored lol. Again one more time just dont stop.
the power from the head unit is just to turn the amp on. there isnt actually any power being drawn from it once your amp is on. your head unit is dimming because your amp is drawing more amps from your battery than your alternator can put back. so to fix this problem... high output alt, or a second or bigger battery.
o ya that should hit pretty dam good when u get a good box for it,are you going to put up any vids of it?

who are you talking to?
steve, the cable goin over your ams.. arent you going to hear them rattling when you have everything up and running?
Are you using dry cell batteries? I have never seen those batteries your using before, are they some kind of brand used by car audio nuts? Not real big into bass anymore but came across your channel and realized more people are into it now than ever before.
i like these type of builts hella tight
Damn these are Sick, How much do these Rockfords Retail for? I am assuming they are Rockfords best, I just wondered why you don't sport heavyweights D9s or any other highend lesser known companies.

wild setup. nice job guys!
awsome build! and an off-subject question, what R/C truck was that lying there, it looked like a n E-MAXX or T-MAXX i coulndt tell
what do you recommend doing with that many wires that are that big genius, have even ever been to a national competition?
8 gauge wire is becoming more and more common now-a-days
NExt time you want to give someone a demo, or you wanna freak someone out. Play the song emmure - the key to keeping the show fresh is im dead. the deftones....AWESOME!
it's a shame that's going to be hidden. those amps looks killer and that set up is genius.
what the hell is a waterhorse?
Lol. The terminals on my sub only just take 10 gauge. :P cheap $30 sub. Ur system rocks Steve!
sick job lost of hard work and smart thinking and u like the deftones hell ya
that shit is going to be on point when it done boi
i agree with you on that....the amps would not only be pushing power into the sub ...but the amp would be pushing power into each other as well.....yeah i thank thats a bad idea...
YO, Steve ya killin em with this hookup!! How many amps total? And where can I buy anything from the Doja Click?,they stuff is bangin!!
whats the difference, they work the same.....i didnt realize people with money use T Handles exclusively LOL
Looking great Steve! To bad the four T2500.1's are tucked away under the box :(. But What the hell, as long as they perform Its all good.
Peace out from the Netherlands \m/
Have you tried any heavy metal through the caddy? that double bass pedal tears me up on my small system :)
So im guessing this will be alot louder than before right?
This is now going to be the 30,000 watt Tahoe right?
How many subs are you planning on this 1?
4,8,12?
That high pitched Rockford amp power on sound. lol I thought something was wrong with mine when I first heard it.
you should be set with 1 amp on those subs, what kind of amps are you looking into?
It gotta be the ground or you may need some better wire... Do u have a factory radio or aftermarket...
it all looks nice but i know way too many people that are a lot louder than him for me to really be impressed. meade is all about looks and he's good at it, no doubt, but im a numbers guy. its all car audio and its all for fun.
steve curious but why are you also installing 8ga wire to those amps along with 0/1?
Man I love that setup man I wish i had it in my surburban, O what kind of sub u r using is it the same ones
hey steve all these vids have been about these amps and ur throwing in how many amps? like 12? im just curious wat kind of subs are u putting in it?
Looks GREAT Steve...just to bad those beautiful amps will be hidden.
i can say i dont really care much for fosgate, but those amps make me reconsider.
