The Lamia,this sounds beautiful,I make no apologies for saying that The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is to me without doubt the best album I have ever heard and I'm 68 and grew up and went through the 60s up to now and listened to and own most of the classics,but no matter what mood I'm in TLLDOB is always a joy to listen to.The best timeless classic ever.❤

The lamb lies down is a pure masterpiece from one of the most talented bands. I miss the years going to concerts listening to not just genesis, but all of the pure genius from these artists. The music these days is nothing compared to the 70s.
There are a few such as Big Big Train but mostly the music scean is barren.
Wonderful especially the guitar solo at the end making it really stand out. Thanks.

Instruments sound extremely good. Vocals are amazing. That's a nice piano sound among many others. This is as good as it gets recording wise. The Vai-axe/guitar-tone is the biggest departure sonically but it sounds really good.

The piano used on this recording is a Yamaha C-3 grand. It was overdubbed in another studio, so it does not appear on this video. Hower, it can be seen on the "ripples" video.
Ah. Methinks the exceptionally talented people in "Afterglow" have feasted on the Steve Hackett/Steve Rothery live version. Not the worst source of inspiration!
