I exceed the range targets in my polestsr on highway trips. 1. Turn off one pedal driving 2. Use cruise control on the highway. 3. When not using cruise control coast as much as possible to minimize braking. 4. Drive below 70mph. When my car was rated for 239 or something miles I got over 260 and still had 8 or 9% to spare.
That’s great to hear! This performance version is the first EV I have driven where I actively wanted to throw it around on a curvy road. Beautifully balanced. I did have 1 pedal on but at its most conservative setting. In Norway you reallly never get over 50mph on the motorway, which is probably under optimal efficiency. keep enjoying your drive! Cheers!
@@TimsEnthusiastGarage Did the car you drove have the 350KW OTA performance upgrade? This is a separate option above/separate from the Performance Package.
Cool, I wonder how the 350kw feels compared to the 300kw. I'm probably going to order the OTA for it when it's available in the US, which should be around October.
@@rarelyaccurate6252 I had a customer come in here in the states and he had both. I drove both. Power isn’t what makes this car special. Both are adequate and one doesn’t feel like ridiculously faster than the other from seat of the pants. That being said if you could trade up I think that’s always a good call.
10:57 WTF Norge, hva er dette for noe forbannet sludder? Har dere ikke engang klart å få på plass et akontosystem for ladebetaling? Hvilken forbannet lov står i veien?
Love the Polestar 2 with Performance. I've got a 2023 in order so nice job but where is the video of your drive of the Model 3 Performance with track mode? I don't see it. Drive one and I doubt you'll call it an appliance. I've had that car for 2 years coming from many BMW M3 and M5's and as an all arounder it's simply a blast and not just the straight line speed.
It’s weird to me that enthusiasts like that car. It feels no where near as good as an M3 (not sure what Gen M5 but the last two were to big to be fun but very fast and the e60 was dismal all around. E39 is brilliant but a classic). The Model 3 performance bump steers on the limit and does decent lap times completely as a result of amazing programming and power management. The chassis and the suspension are 100% appliance grade but that’s imho. I think your really like this PS2 ! Thanks for watching
It if better than Apple for sure but navigation was pretty straight forward. If you look, later we used the nav through the car, it was lagging so Ethan was calling out turn by turn the first 20 min or so . Cheers and thanks for watching

Quick question. I thought having regen braking helps conserve battery? How does turning it off on the highway help?

Jeg gjorde meg irritert på dine vegne. Begrensningen du forteller er bare flau.

Where's the Lotus S4S? Is it finally restored?
The green S4S is great, I drive it frequently. The purple S4 is still being restored. More parts arrive for it every week

You guys should have used Google Maps in the car?
