To be honest, if that's the case, your computer is lower budget than the norm. I think that the chair is way overpriced, but it is likely that most people would spend over $700 on a PC in its entirety.

Practically all of these chairs are made in the same factory to the design of whoever orders them. GamersNexus did a video on it a couple of years ago, you should go watch it. Their conclusion is basically "they're shit, don't buy them". Just get a good office chair.

just got myself p6800 a week ago upgrading from noblechair which lasted for about 5 y, even though i paid almost the same price for the chair the shipping costed me another 500$ and a month to arrive, shipping to middle east (Qatar) is not fun but at least it arrived in 1 piece and the comfort is unbelievable, also i do agree it does not smell anything like coffee beans at all smells like a new leather seat of a new car, will give u a headache in the first few days but worth it.
one of the most important thing you should be thinking of when buying a gaming chair is to not buy it if you're after comfort buy a real chair if you're after comfort
You could make the equivalent with an ESP32, some RGB strips and a charging module for say 15$ and you'd learn something while doing it. 200$+ for some RGB is borderline criminal.

That's what they essentially are. They're racing chairs, only racing chairs have a function to keep you in place while driving around at high speed. They're pretty shit ergonomically when sat in a single spot for hours. Just get a good office chair, they're specifically designed for sitting in one spot for hours.

Bought one of their chairs a few years ago and I hated it because the seat bottom had high metal supported bolstering that made it impossible to sit with a leg crossed or under you. I'm 5'8 180lbs and the bolsters were constantly pressed against my thighs causing pain and sweat. Managed to salvage it as a nice seat for my racing rig as the feet flat out infront eliminated that problem. But yeah, went secret lab after that and I'll never go back.

ngl i dont hate is im glad its not an all pleather chair like the rest of teh gaming chairs and i have seen other rgb gaming chairs out there but thos are cheaply made and will not only break but will also break your back in a few years, i have had a few different chairs over teh years like 'ikea marcus' and i also had a corsair road warrior and the thing broke after 2-3 years it loked like someone ate it but i do sitdown and game more than most others does. i dident have a chance to get a SL5800 when my corsair broke so i went to get a secretlabs titan napa2020 i was on sale and i do like its real leather it has the same oem 4d arm rests and its nice too its just almost twise as expensive
A must have upgrade for nearly all office chairs are some better wheels. You can get large soft skateboard wheels that pop right in place of those awful plastic casters. Your chair becomes smooth and silent for $25. Additionally the rolling resistance is basically zero with better wheels. It should be standard on any chair that costs more than $150. Hard plastic casters DESTROY floors, especially any kind of laminate or hardwood. With better soft wheels you don't need to spend $50+ on a floor mat.
Cool chair. But I'm not sure if it's worth the high price. Chair is about the same price as a secretlab if you don't add the rgb but with all the added rgb it's almost 1000usd, and without lumbar support, it's a nogo for most people
I have a Vertagear PL4500 that a bolt backed out on the reclining mechanism and ruined the chair because the head of the bolt is in a sealed plastic enclosure under the seat vinyl. A real shame since up until that point I had no issues with the chair.
Just get a Herman Miller, if you can't afford a new one there are lots of second hand ones out there, even if the warranty is non-transferrable they are generally quite repairable and they generally live up to their reputation.
