That alone is some pretty scary stuff to think about, possibly even worse that it was probably still out there. O.o; Can't blame the Bydo on this one, I'm afraid. R-Type connections: the Tentacle Force is a part of the arsenal developed by the team who built all of the R-series ships, although the microship in question isn't exactly seen in R-Type Final. If memory serves me right, it probably was referenced in the data for the Force module.
Thank Irem for entering to a woman's corpse to find and destroy the Alien virus inside her womb. I don't want to imagine if the corpse was from a man.....

From what I understand, the plot of this game is that alien micro-organisms are invading by colonizing the bodies of colonists of some planet. You're on a fantastic voyage to defeat the alien queen. Man, that invasion must've been going on for some time, considering the state of the tissues of the patient. o_O;; This might warrent a viewing of an entire playthrough. For scientific reasons.

I mean, since the game is now canonically part of R-Type, it makes sense - the Bydo are a man made cosmic horror that just can’t be gotten rid of.

私的には、このタイトルがアーケード市場に出回った際に、稼働数が少なかった事もあってか、
余り評価されていなかったのが非常に惜しいタイトルだと思います。
今を以てしても、非常に個性的でグラフィックも優れていますし、アイデアも秀逸だと思います。
現在だとSwitchのアーケードアーカイブスに収録されているようですので、
遊んだ事の無い方は、移植版とはなってしまいますが、一度遊んでみられたら良いかも知れないですね。
個人的にお勧めのタイトルです。
