So I ended up getting the GT but not the Performance Package, are there any complications with changing out the decklid lip it has for something more appealing like this or should it be as simple as one out one in kinda situation?

Not an issue at all. I do not have a Performance Package either. My base GT came with that small lip spoiler. This wing still mounts right up without drilling required

Will it fit a 2019 GT? I'm curious if Ford used the same holes.

Cannot confirm, I would assume no since the steeda S550 GT500 Wong does not fit properly on yhe S650s.
