Hey Chuck. I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me with your awesome videos. I just landed my first entry level IT job and couldn't be happier. Keep doing what you're doing and much appreciation sir.
Very interesting. A follow-up covering what these applications (OnionShare, mkp224o etc) actually do would be useful. For example, does the ToR network use something similar to DNS to map an onion URL to an IP? Is TCP/IP even used? A technology comparison to the clear web would be interesting.
Hey @NetworkChuck I just came to say "hello". 🙂 You have the coolest and most calming voice ever! Even when the topics are not so interesting, I got "stuck" and still watch you video on my TV! You are funny and natural and the same time. It's like listening to a big brother talk. Thanks for the great content, love your videos and Shorts!
Just changing career now after working as a cook for almost 9 years . I know back than it was much harder as now you can find a lot of videos on the internet and a lot of tools to help you study. I always watch your videos , its helps me a lot :D
Not looking for attention from our awesome youtuber . But i just want to say thank you Chuck , because before i accidentally stumbled upon your channel , i was lost . and after i watch endless hours of your videos i am now in CyberSecurity , your videos helped me choose a path that i didnt know i would end up loving and become super passionate about . I recently passed my Security+ exam and still learning from your awesome videos . One thing we disagree on , is that tea is better than coffee . Love your stuff Chuck keep up your wholesomeness .
The whole point of the Tor network is to hide your identity, and then you came and hosted your PORTFOLIO that cleared your identity on a Tor address that hides your identity! (The Tor network be like: WTF dude, what I'm doing here).😂 BTY: it's amazing video🔥, I'll do it (no a portfolio ofc😜)
Maybe they're not necessarily seeking anonymity. It's a cheap perhaps even free and independent way to host a website without paying for a domain and being reliant on domain registrars... as long as your audience can access it of course. Brave Browser now has Tor built in - if other browsers follow suit we could just publish websites there. Good for freedom from censorship...
Thanks, NC. Love your content. Don't know why I can never get a clean install of anything on Kali. Right now, I cannot seem to properly configure *kali-rolling* key repository. I'm getting all kinds of errors, and warnings that the repository doesn't exist. I've consulted the kali repository page to no avail. In fact none of my tools work: Metasploit, Apktool, fluxion, nothing. Appreciate any help with repository.
You need to bring back your podcast! Havent seen an update to it for a long time. Love your content and would be super happy to hear interviews and open ended tech commentary.
Not the dark web but the Tor network. Doesn't the term dark web refer to the use of a platform and not the platform itself because the platform is the Tor network.
Hey chuck ive been meaning to ask will there be more python episodes coming I know your busy but man im so hooked up to python i just want to learn all day Thank you man
I recently got a phising email but thanks to chuck i was aware and check the email and the blue word that connects you to a link through the code and i was safe. Thanks Chuck
Highly informative Video ! Thanks for such a Quality Straight to the point in easiest explanation possible! You are a Chad 🤴🏻 ❤️ We Need more Darkweb stuff 😉
Hey Chuck, on your commands blog, I noticed an error: Instead of adding the "wget" command for the GPG key, you double copied over the command for the debian version. Just FYI. Thanks for another great video! and thanks for everything your doing as a whole. Thank-you.
dude, this is one of your best ones yet... Just about the name..... 224 is the code for the greek letter alpha... so the name is whatever mkp means (make personal ??) then alpha o (alpha omega geddit ?) cheers😀
Can you explain the difference between snap, apt, pip and whatever other stuff people came up with to install programs? I feel that it's somewhat stupid to have multiple ways of installing a program since you'll have to not only keep track of what program you installed but also where and how it's installed.
I can confirm that putting a tor server on Androids works. Just about anything you can do with a computer, you can do with an android, because android is run on Linux.
There are a few tutorials on the internet about hosting an onion site. Yet there is virtually nothing on implementing dynamic functionality. That is, setting up nginx through tor with files for server-side logic.
Awesome guide as usual, thanks Chuck! and i totally get the Coolness of being able to do this, despite all the naysayers and conspiracy theorists out there. In my naivete and lack of {suspense opening music} Dark Web knowledge, it would appear an excellent method of sharing a website with family and close friends that isn't google-able and is under lock and shared Key. Need to watch the first two episodes now to get more of a feel for this dark web stuff as it is fascinating! (from a tech point of view)
Hey Chuck.. I love your videos, but you made a mistake around 14:10. You said nano was the best editor, but I think you meant to same vim. It's an honest mistake and really easy to make. ;)
Hi NetworkinChuck, I hope you´re doing well!! Could you make a video explain the difference between Offensive Security and Defensive Security please? I'd be great if you could do it!!! Pls
Watching the video and when Chuck said "Nano is the best editor" I cracked up laughing cause there's people who love VIM. I personally like Nano though.
Question to understand it :) Is it ensured that a domain is not used twice? Or to put it another way: If someone finds a domain with the mkp tool but never uses it, i.e. no website is hosted on it, does it become "free" again?
I want to build a NAS using a Raspberry Pi. This is a component, but I'm not sure how to configure the power supply so that it powers both the 4 HDDs and the Raspberry Pi 5. available components are: 4 x 4TB HDD (3.5 inch) (requirement 60watt) SATA3.0 to M.2 B-Key, NGFF SSD Conversion Waveshare M.2 NGFF SATA to 5-Ch SATA3 Expander, JMB575 control chip SATA3.0 to USB3.0 converter cable respberry pi 5 (4gb) power supply❓
so i tried your Kali linux guide and it doesnt work for my system its all up to date and stuff but the installation of kali linux doesnt work, just comes up with "Error *bunch of numbers beginning with 08* what should i do?????????
Are MacBooks safe/good for this kinda stuff. I want a laptop but I’m used to using windows but Ik Mac is preferred by a lot for stuff like everyday or school related.
I'd love to see your take on the most recent changes to Cisco's CyberOps pathway compared to your take 4 years ago to CCNA Security. Not a whole lot out there about it.
You can do anything you want you well capable you are protected in everyday you are amaizing and fantastic , you need to take care of yourself and go foward you need to learn how to hack you can learn anything really fast you are amaizing
its really awesome, tell me one thing, is there any way to implement more advanced security, i mean if i create illegal site, then no one can trace me. ??? including FBI
with windows you dont need linux. well you do but WSL makes it convenient, though note that its memory heavy. have at least 16gb on system for comfy usage
Gotta say, that was awesome. I was following along (in manjaro so there were a few differences) but it was still pretty clear what to do. PS I used vi. 🙂
I've got a potentially stupid question. Is there a way to use my IOT stuff like Alexa, Ecobee, etc where it has the ability to connect to internet so I can use them away from home but where only I can access them? I hate the idea of some corporation being able to control products that I purchased. I don't want my Thermostat to suddenly not work because I didn't vote a certain way lol

If you watch his episode on starting your own tor relay he goes into all of that. The episode is called "The dark web NEEDS you!".
Love it finally an actual purpose for the dark web impressing recruiters 😊

I went a step further and did a video on how to set up a WordPress site on the darknet. Props to Chuck for this video.

We need to have a full-on 12 hours debate on the tea thing tho
i some times watch your videos for fun and not to learn you are just so fun to watch.
Would really like to see a video on how to create an IPFS web site/page!
Interviewer: why the hell do you have a onion website in your resume ?
Me : But it's first 5 digits are custom

Could do a video for changing, hiding or spoofing Mac address. Like a vpn but instead to change the IP it changes the Mac address.
Please?
This guy is the Frank Tedesco of tech. 😊💙
Pls add some content on RAT.
How to create one, how to prevent a RAT attack, etc
Big fan of your content

I followed your guide and now I'm in Guantanamo Bay being interrogated by the CIA
how the title of this video turned from "how to create an website on the darkweb" to "3 fun ways to use the darkweb" so quickly?
Creators can edit video titles on TH-cam now!

Can you shed some light on why the phone version is not recommended?
i just checked it out on onionshare and they say its in the beta stage and has few bugs in it and it only has file sharing and web hosting
Awesome, i will try it out tomorrow for sure. Thanks a lot!
Not related to the video but you are the only youtuber that i can watch and be interested
Pls make a video on how to remotely access android phone through kali
Dude just in time as i am doing a website for my portfolio,I also love your images man you have a lot of great work.
Love your channel chuck, I'm curious why you wouldn't recommend Onion for android as well? are there security vulnerabilities associated?
Not the dark web but the Tor network. Doesn't the term dark web refer to the use of a platform and not the platform itself because the platform is the Tor network.
Dark web just means you don't have a DNS name attached to the server
Hey chuck ive been meaning to ask will there be more python episodes coming

What tools are you using to write/dray in your videos? I really like the look of it.
Thanks for sharing, very valuable! Like the idea of the secret chat, but out of curiosity: How would you safely share the link for this chat session?
Something is special about your video I can play it as pop up over other apps without premium only yours and official Google vids. Interesting
Could you make an explainer on WebSockets next?
I must to say that you are doing a great job teaching all the crazy stuff and fantastic World of cibersecurity. Thanks for your videos
If I turn pc off will the site disappear or stay online thats the Main question
If not then why did hole mess If onionshare does same think and easier
"not sure that tracked" got a thumbs up.
Very cool to realize you are a local DFW neighbor ⚡
I recently got a phising email but thanks to chuck i was aware and check the email and the blue word that connects you to a link through the code and i was safe.
Thanks Chuck
Nice work chuck!! love it
Great Vid, and also i loved your linux machine wallpaper. Where can i get that?

Is no one else having trouble with kali-rolling repository config?
Hey, the wget command seems to be missing from your site. Mind adding that?
Hi new to learning cyber security, love your tutorials big fan of your work. Thank you
Maybe you can make a video about how encryption works (the part with prime numbers and private and public Keys, end2end etc)
Thanks man!
What coffee you like?
So sad that ppl thinks they can be untrackable and others sells the idea and profit on top of it.
Hey Chuck, on your commands blog, I noticed an error: Instead of adding the "wget" command for the GPG key, you double copied over the command for the debian version. Just FYI. Thanks for another great video! and thanks for everything your doing as a whole. Thank-you.
I think i hate computers now and im gonna become a shepherd in norway. I have spend at least 1.5 hours on this and i didn't get it to work.
Chuck, Every time I watch one of your "Linux Videos" It gets me back into LINUX LOL Thank You for keeping the fire alive in me!
dude, this is one of your best ones yet... Just about the name..... 224 is the code for the greek letter alpha... so the name is whatever mkp means (make personal ??) then alpha o (alpha omega geddit ?)

I dont understood why to use or host Tor? If its regarding private there are other ways to do.
Can you explain the difference between snap, apt, pip and whatever other stuff people came up with to install programs? I feel that it's somewhat stupid to have multiple ways of installing a program since you'll have to not only keep track of what program you installed but also where and how it's installed.
Now you change the address to Sneed
I have created a website on my laptop using Local. How do I then upload my website to the dark web ?
IMPORTANT - what all things should I learn to get IT knowledge like you ????? (anybody respond) I am looking to work in IT field

When will you upload your server room video with Fully setup? I am waiting.
Great video , but i think the thumbnail and the title before the new one was better
Hey Chuck.. I love your videos, but you made a mistake around 14:10. You said nano was the best editor, but I think you meant to same vim. It's an honest mistake and really easy to make. ;)
I personally like to get personal with it and use a web server running something like apache and work with both the tor and apache configuration file.
hey nice video but i think theres an error in your description link at the part where it says "Add the GPG Key" no? Did i misunderstood something?
To mr chuck this looks like fun thank you for youre info on this topic.
Wow, Dude...your content is seriously awesome! Thanks a lot.
Who wants to see Chuck and Linus collab
Weekend project right here! Stuck behind my isp.
Please make a video to how to get useful from the darkweb 🙏🙏
Hi NetworkinChuck, I hope you´re doing well!! Could you make a video explain the difference between Offensive Security and Defensive Security please? I'd be great if you could do it!!! Pls
Coolest tech channel..i always learn witth alot of laughter.
Watching the video and when Chuck said "Nano is the best editor" I cracked up laughing cause there's people who love VIM. I personally like Nano though.
@NetworkChuck would you recommend an antivirus for mac users or is am I safe ?

my friend bought a cushion on the dark web without using any secure browsers or anything!
You forgot to add the wget command to the commands website :)
yep. i cant find it, now i have to type it!!!

power supply❓
so i tried your Kali linux guide and it doesnt work for my system its all up to date and stuff but the installation of kali linux doesnt work, just comes up with "Error *bunch of numbers beginning with 08* what should i do?????????
Absolutely fantastic. And yes, Nano is the best.
Chucks thumbnail editor is going insane this days!
Just started watching your videos. So i am sorry if you mentioned it, Which browser is this?
Are MacBooks safe/good for this kinda stuff. I want a laptop but I’m used to using windows but Ik Mac is preferred by a lot for stuff like everyday or school related.

Nice video, always found you helpful chuck. ❤
with windows you dont need linux. well you do but WSL makes it convenient, though note that its memory heavy. have at least 16gb on system for comfy usage
hey sir , if possible can you taught us the cyber security architecture full course
Gotta say, that was awesome. I was following along (in manjaro so there were a few differences) but it was still pretty clear what to do.
PS I used vi. 🙂
