      V100 doesn't even have video output ports... I don't think you could compare it with rtx3090 for benchmarks other than deep learning and scientific workloads. Some servers somehow made it possible to output the video streams from V100 into the cloud and then onto remote personal devices, but I don't know how you can game on V100 if you just plug it into the pcie slot of your PC.

    Quick disconnect connectors are nice thing to have (gives you a reason to actually service the cooling loop more often )

    honestly, I was tired of water cooling. It was always a pain when you need to clean everything or fix stuff.
    But, with quick disconnect fittings, I'm back into the game.

    Hey, I got an upcoming build planned with external radiator setup, and I was thinking of using quick disconnect for the pc-rad connection. Since you have a extensive portfolio of watercooling videos, could you do a comparison on different quick disconnects on market? I found nobody else has done one. Could include flow rates, spillage, air introduced to system when connected as there are many different types and iterations of QDC's.

      My titanV is on par with 2080ti so should be on par with 3070, so 3090 should be about 75% faster depending in how shader or ROP limited your application is.
      If you need fp64 then thats completely different as titanV and V100 have 6.9Tflops of fp64 meanwhile ga102 is limited to 1/32 rate. The 3090 is not a titan.

    Are Teslas more powerful than Quadros?

    • @Outland9000
      @Outland9000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are used for different things. Tesla is used for parallel computing and Quadro is used for CAD. I have never used Tesla cards but as far as I know they are not a _graphics cards_ and don't even have graphics outputs like HDMI or Display Ports for example. I know this doesn't answer your question but in terms of raw processing power I would assume Tesla cards would spank a Quardro in double-precision calculations and memory bandwidth (I don't know about the Quadro GV100 though) But the Quardo rtx 8000 has the most RAM in terms of gigabytes (at 48gb) of any NVidea card (that I know of).

    * Any similarity with previous unsold HED solutions (when 4 way SLI still was a thing for benchmarking ) is pure coincidence.
