My name is Brian but everyone calls me Greeny. I retired in January of 2020 after working 30 years in Law Enforcement. I wanted to retire young enough to be able to do some of the things I always dreamed about! I knew I wanted to travel extensively and retire somewhere warm and exotic I sampled a ton of places in the Caribbean, Panama, Colombia, Turkey but set my sights on Thailand. In 2020 I met Fai on a Tinder date and we hit it off immediately. We have been inseparable ever since!

i have owned new Hondas, Toyotas and Mazdas. Be far Mazda was always a bargain and what you get for your money. Since both are made in Thailand now, so no import taxes tacked on top of that. Nissan, never liked their quality of craftsmanship and quality except their trucks which i thought was decent. Wise buy Greeny👍

Thumbs up 👍 Greeny, my wife and I just purchased the Nissan eKicks, we went with that because we wanted an electric car however here in Phuket not to many charging stations. What’s cool about the eKicks is that it totally runs off the battery and the small gas engine in the car is solely to charge the battery only so it was perfect we get over 900kl per tank and yes we got the 1 year free first class insurance as well. You picked the right car for yourself as each of us has different needs and taste
I bought a new cx5 a year ago. I like it great safety features. Even in USA it seems there is a 6 month wait for a hybrid or an electric.

I’ve been looking at the Mazda CX30 in the US to replace my wife’s Volvo XC90. They get good reviews and seem to be an affordable, well made suv.

I love Mazda cars. Very reliable. How much was the out the door price?
Not a fan of the hybrids. We had a couple of those in our fleet when I was working, they constantly have issues with the battery.
