@@snayperkill6218 That was when the pope issued a papal bull of excommunication encouraging all catholics to rise up against Elizabeth to disposed or even assasinate her. This was also the time when Mary Staurt fled from Scotland to England which onely gave a focal point for all Catholics to rise up agiant Elizabeth, and Catholic plots were only being hatched and uncovered left right and centre. The situation of the time forced Elizabeth to crack down harder on Catholicism than she really wanted to.
hello Lindsey fantastic video and so much information i love all your videos i wonder if youve ever had a interest in the hidden pictures in the portrates as i have like the painting of Elizabeth which shows her victories and the dark side and the win could you show some others where there is hidden stories x

Fantastic and lovely presentation Friend obrigado
Thanks for excellent video friend
There needs to be some credit given to the tutors who are teaching 3 to 4 languages🤯 to these royal children. There’s so much fascination over royalty that learns multiple languages, but very little acknowledgment of the ones who are teaching them. Kat ashley must have been very well read & educated herself.
Omg she was crowned on my brother’s birthday but just 455 years before
You should talk about Isabella of Castile probably the most iconic queen in europe and western civilization, as well as the Catholic Kings of Spain and their feats
Smart way to get us to watch the ads and not skip them👏🏾
I think both Mary and Elizabeth were traumatized by their father and his treatment of their mothers. Mary thought that in a way getting the country back to being Catholic would fix all the sinful ills her father did. Elizabeth didn’t want marriage because her mother lost her head over hers and didn’t want to hand over any power to anyone if she didn’t have to.
intelligent/ smart just like her mother Anne Boleyn. She once sent a letter to our Sultan brought by Sir Francis Drake and our Sultan replied to her (they correspond to each other through letters of friendship, political relations and trade access). I forget which museum in England, the letter is still there and is still neatly stored. From the contents of the letter, it can be seen that she is a kind, friendly, authoritative Queen, does not speak arrogantly, has a warm friendly attitude
