Bought this exact model from you guys, and installed it today. On the P2.6 setting on my '16 Ecoboost Mustang, it feels very similar to what I remember on my '95 TransAm from years ago that was obviously fly-by-cable. To be frank, I thought it was a gimmick seeing the ads on social media (mostly the Pedal Commander). It's not a gimmick for those who miss cabled throttle body feel and know that the fly-by-wire setups nerf your throttle response. The many settings with degrees of sensitivity are a good touch. The install took me 5 minutes with no tools needed. I only had to tuck some wire between trim pieces, and for that... I used the folded cardboard insert from inside the box. Also, be sure to clean off the spot you place the button display with alcohol.

I'm currently using it on P2.9 which is amazing on drive and even better on sport. I wouldnt recomend using the race setting on the street though, it's really sensitive and unless your taking off quickly it tends to jitter if you're accelerating slowly from a stop. Overall though I'm very satisfied with this product.
I received mine this morning and had it installed 30 minutes later. Packing was excellent (USPS damage proof). Install took almost 15 minutes. Hardest part was wedging my 6'2" body under the dash so I could see what I was doing. This is a true "Plug and Play" install. Throttle response of my truck is now instantaneous, instead of sluggish. I do need to retrain my right foot to be softer on the gas pedal after years of "throttle by wire" vehicles. The first time I drove it I spun the tires without meaning to do so. Great Price, great value. I will definitely recommend this to my friends. Keep in mind - it does NOT increase HP, but it unleashes the HP already there quicker.
I hate the lag in my 2020 mustang on the highway. Especially when challenged. The other driver is gone before my car kicks in. I will try this. Tune next year.
My truck has a fuccing lil incredible hulk under the hood. Feels like I'm in a brand new truck definitely gets rid of the lag. Its definitely quicker. Extremely satisfied
Is there some technique for removing the throttle plug from the pedal? I’ve unlocked the red plug but when i try to pull it out it’s so stiff & won’t budge. Thanks

I have a 2013 GT With a SCT programmer bought in 2013 so its old. running a 93 octane CAL Would I need a new tune to run this on my car. Would I need a newer programmer if a new tune is needed. I bought the car used with only 5k miles like it is and it runs very well but I do experience some throttle lag.
You would not need an additional/new tune to run this David but keep in mind, alot of times aftermarket tunes increase throttle input slightly so it may be a bit redundant. -Justin

From what I heard is that you have to tell the tuner that you have an electric throttle controller so they can write it in the tune, otherwise you might have some problems with the throttle.
@@americanmuscle yeah just told the AMT team to write a custom tune for me 93 octane race mode. So I don't think I'll need this Justin since my SCTX4 can do it all.
Dont buy this. These things are junk, they sent me a broken unit then sent me a replacement unit a week later. The new unit has lasted 3 days and now doesnt turn on and my accelerator quit working until I unplugged the controller and cleared the check engine lights it caused.

Bought a cheap one on eBay just like this for 50$. Works incredible! Way less lag! More responsive.

Once you pick your setting can you unplug the controller from the unit? Rather not mount to my dash if possible.
This one is far nicer then the one I have, but be assured, these things "feel like" you added a supercharger

Yes this can be used with a handheld tuner. No problems with the install and it works great!

There’s a gray tab after you push up the red one, press the gray tab and it will come right off.

Yes a I had the peddleMaxx on my old mustang but once I got my custom tune it did nothing. So I sold it. Was nice to have that instant response.
