One of my favorite things about Kled: On every characters lore page it lists their "Allies" and "Enemies" usually 2-3 each. Kled on the other hand has EVERY character in the game as his "Enemy", including himself. The only "Ally" listed, is Skaarl.
I just imagined kleed geting a phd in rocket science, so he can invent first ever rocket in runnetera to beat aspects ass.
Have they kept that updated over the years?

Fun fact: his lizard mouth is supposedly immortal, but it is such a scaredycat it always runs away from battle. Kled, being the madlad that he is, does not give a crap and kicks ass until his lizard comes back.
I think they only die of old age, but yeah, they are immortal and impervious to physical attacks.

It is often said that Yordles represent the highest intensity stereotypes of the region they dwell in. For Kled he represents all of the stereotypes linked to Noxus. Loud, violent, brash, and takes everything for himself .
Other yordle themes include: Gnar from the Freljord and Vex from the Shadow Isles. Lulu also has her own theme. Kennen, Fizz and all the others don't have themes unfortunately

Kled is the character I played when I TRULY wanted to just have fun. He is the embodiment of "Balls to the wall" do what tf you want when you want and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Him and Illaoi the Kraken Priestess hold a special place in my heart alongside Jhin and Pyke.

His lore ties up to his gameplay so well. In game, when you take too much damage, Skaarl runs away and the way to recover it is to literally go into the enemy and strike him nonstop. Skaarl won't come back if you run away.
I saw someone say this in another video. Kled theme is devided in two main instruments, one represents Kled, the other his mount. Then at 2:31 they split up and you can only hear kled's part. It stills sounds playfull, but lonely as well. 3:05 is the mount running back to him and finnaly at 3:41 they reunite and both instruments sincronize

Watching you try to comprehend the insanity of Kled (and his theme) was hilarious. It's unfortunate you did him before you started listening to voice lines, and if you have a list somewhere of champions to go back and listen to their voice lines, he should definitely be on it. He easily has some of the most hilarious, random, and entertaining voice lines in the game.
I think I'll listen to them on a live stream!

It's absolutely mind-blowing to me how accurately he was able to describe Kled's character based on the sound track alone - this absolute maniacal looney toones character happens to be one of my personal favorites, so it's really cool to see him analyzed like this! great content
Kled has some of the weirdest lore (or lack of lore?) ever. He's just a violent, unintentionally goofy, very psychotic dude hanging out with his lizard pal and chasing people off his turf. He isn't really connected to many other characters - he simply is, and I love that about him. Kled is a perfect example of a character with no overall significance to the larger events of the world that still stands out. Yes he participated in many battles, but he doesn't really have any higher aspirations or motives. But none of that matters because he has so much swagger and attitude that you love him anyway.
Kled is a parody of Noxus. That's what Riot want the yordles to be now, parodies of the region they live in. I think Kled is the only one that was built entirely around that, as he's the last yordle to have been added to the game.

@@Oscar97o perhaps a better way to describe than *_'being a parody'_* would be to *_'embody their region'_* - Kled embodies the aggressive militaristic essence of the early barbaric noxii-tribe and what would become the expansionist noxian nation - where as someone like Heimerdinger embodies the ingenuity and inventiveness of the early piltovan tribes that would later on become the cultural mecca - nation of piltover

I would recommend to you the "This is War" Series made by Falconshield. They are musicially very well made. Its basically a rap battle between the characters and the new one that just came out had the perfect Kled impression. You can find some more League lore in there and also have a musical experience!
Yeah I didn't really even think about the possibility of you reacting to the voice lines for each champion until this one.
There's a channel that generally posts all the interactions and voice lines called Skin Spotlights. There's always a lot of voice lines, but they do a great job portraying the personalities of the characters. Just food for thought lol
First time I saw Kled, I thought he was a pirate lol. The instruments of the song represents Kled and his lizard Skaarl- the brass represents Kled (the "serious" ornery guy who likes to fight) and the strings represents Skaarl (who is a coward). Even when the two personalities are very contrasting, they were able to work as a team and Kled still loves Skaarl even when she kept running away from him. His overall theme is what makes me love to play Kled. Best champ 200/10.

Hearing Kled's theme for the first time really reinforces the "Dah, what da hell, I'll kill ya anyway" vibe that I always get from playing against him
kled is such a fun character, on the old league of legends wiki there was always a section that mentioned allies and enemies, so ionians had noxians as an enemy and fellow ionians as allies etc, Kleds page however listed EVERY champion including himself as an enemy and just his lizard skaarl as his ally.
then there was a story where kled was on an adventure but skaarl farted too much so kled left and attempted to talk to a snake about pie crusts, it turned out the snake wasnt actually a snake but the shadow of a rock, so he then proceeded to kill an entire noxian invasion army (his own people) which he succeeded in after skaarl came back.

It’s actually a banjo. It’s to give it that country bumpkin vibe, gives you the image of an old man in the deep south hunker down in his cabin, eyes wide and weirdly focused, what kind of guy that the second you step on his property he busts out with the biggest gun he has, spewing gibberish about some nondescript war he was a part of
So I don’t know if anyones said this but I like how his music ties in with his character. The strong brass with the strings together have a playful energy about it. Which in game the two of them together are just that, playful, but brash. And when one of the instruments cut out, which I’d like to think is skaarl that joy is also gone which leaves only kled who no longer has anything remotely resembling fun. Kleds voice lines just from him goofing around murdering people to him literally screeching yelling, and occasionally calling out for skaarl. Also that whistle sounds a lot like an WW1 infantry whistle signaling soldiers to charge from the trenches
Kled is just one of those characters where everything about them fits perfectly. Also, if you want a challenge, I'd recommend reacting to Nilah's theme - there's a discrepancy between the music and her lore, but once you get it, it makes so much sense.
Swain or Evelynn next would be great, its always awesome to see you pretty much nail the character within the first minute of listening to the theme lol

fun fact about kleds splash art: he's holding a short crossbow bolt that he snapped with one hand, after catching it out of the air while standing on the back of a distracted lizard.
fun fact about kleds kit, one of his attacks is a bear trap tied to a rope that he throws at people to keep them from running away.
Also suggestion wise: Cytus 2 has a series of tracks CHAOS, V and II which start as electronic and slowly lapse into classical for story reasons.
It'd be really fascinating to see what you think about those trio of tracks without any context of the game's grand sci-fi story of musicians and AI.
Kled has some of the goofiest and wackiest voice lines in all of league of legends. I don't even play the character but I love em. My favorite quote is when you spawn in at the beginning of a game and kled shouts, "HOLY SHIT, WHERE ARE WE."

Kled has one of, if not the most voicelines of all characters in the game. And all of it is a grumpy southern redneck with his shotgun, long-axe, and dementia, high off mushroom juice screaming at the youngins to 'git off of his property' or grousing at his immortal, indestructible lizard steed for being spooked at it's own shadow and running away from the battle that Kled is definitely justified in starting...
The only ingame-swearing champ... I love him
His playstyle is basically: Go in and die, but take someone/ multiple people with you OR even kill the entire enemy team
(Before watching) This is gonna be hard. Kled is such a weird personality. And I love it! I hope you get to hear is insane voice lines!
(After watching) Oh, you got some of his parts during the music session, but he is so odd, that the videos still threw you off a bit. Too bad you didn't hear much of his voice lines. Unrelated to LoL but I wonder if you know of the game Omori. It also has a pretty good OST. If you ever want to check it out, I recommend the songs "Omori" (this one ends abruptly because the other song "Omori - Alter" is supposed to play right after, you can choose to listen to that one if you want) and "The Last Duet" which is the main theme.
Another nice game is GRIS. Beautiful game with beautiful music. The songs I recommend would be "Gris part 1" (the first song of the game when you start it), "Unagi", & "Gris part 2" (the second-to-last song of the game). The entire soundtrack is very relaxing.
One thing you need to know about Yordles (Kled Specie) is that they are the embodiment of their surrounding. Like the goblin folklore, the enviroment shapes them. Noxus is a warmonger society, strenth above all, conquering and expanding. Kled is a comically exaggerated version of that.
From what I remember from the Kled theme, it does a bit of what Pantheon's theme does
The first part is Kled and Skarrl together, starting a fight. In the middle, the strings leave, and then there's only the tuba, signifying that Skarrl has run away. Then there's a bit where the tuba builds and some other instruments join, and then Skarrl returns!
I'd recommend you give the champion voice lines a listen as well. Every champion with a theme has a video with all of his voice lines and they are FANTASTIC. They're probably the best characterization you can find as they give a more personal insight into who the character is, their fears and their background. I suggest you have a look at Pantheons lines as they are just purely inspiring and emotional, but all of the characters you've seen so far have great ones.
As a dedicated league player and music enthusiast I gotta say I LOVE this content. Definitely keep doing these videos, there are so many awesome champion themes you have yet to experience but to name some of my favorites: Irelia, Yone, Taliyah, Nunu.
I love how you get his vibe just from the first minute or so.
I always thought his theme always feels slightly off kilter? But also having that slight bit of humor mixed with a dangerous element.
His character is one of the most interesting in League being from a magical race that takes on aspects of places they land in, the Yordles. However, he’s gone a tad bit extreme and gone completely off his rocker. His voice lines are absolute gold. Could you tell he was supposed to be from Noxus?
Kled taught me how to love Melee champions. I've always played ranged mages in League but when Kled came out he was easy and fun enough for me to learn that melee champions can be nice to play too!
To explain why Kled he CANONICLY is constantly high. Or as he said once:

Rough around the edges is a very mild way to put it, clinicly insane is more what he is.
In the game Kled's passive is that his lizard (Skarll's the name) always runs away when it's heatlh is depleted. Kled then has to fight alone to gain courage meter, to get Skarll back and often turn the tides of the fight to his advantage. It's almost always better to just never run away from the fight you got yourself into.
3:04 I think that the slow part before this build-up is the moment Skarll flees, leaving Kled alone, then the build-up itself is growing anger and madness untill the beat drops and Kled goes into the enemy horde, cursing and yelling. Finally in the last part of the song, banjo represents Skarll coming back to help.
I freaking love this character, it's insane how you could execute such a simple, goofy concept in such great way. For me the big part is also the Polish VA, who did much better job (I feel) at being old man maniac-murderer, high on shrooms lunatic XD. Thank you, for the reaction, Marco!
Nothing is more fun then charging to the back line and giving them a warm noxian welcome (or die trying but hey that is part of the job as Kled).

It's just a guess but in my opinion that "scream" in 3:56 is supposed to be something that sounds more like a howl, like something animalistic since this is the part of the ost that shows us Kled - as legends about him say - in a way that tells us he is great warrior and general, someone dangerous so in this part the "howling" sound would be a symbol of a ferocious beast his mount is (not in reality of course) that is why I think it's supposed to be something like big scary lizard's hissing or roaring

This was an interesting analysis! I've played a bit of him in the game but haven't really listened to his theme in depth. It's interesting cause they actually incorporate a lot of his theme song into his gameplay which not a lot of champions have that.

There is also an interpretation of Kled's tale in the lore - where in he killed many noxian military ranks, stole their uniform and got their title thinking if Kled kills this solier, I have this soldier's title

You should really listen to voicelines for some of these characters from the "Skin Spotlights" channel. You will be able to understand some of the lore around the character as well as some good characterazation. Especially Kled, he has some of the best voicelines in the entire damn game. Especially as he screams at the top of his lungs.

Great video as always! It's always fun to listen to someone experiencing for the first time the thing you love. If i can make suggestion i recommend listening to Rell`s theme from Leage. Its one of my favorite champions and pieses of music from this game. Im curious about your take on it.
I think this is one of the few times that you should check the complete champion spotlight, cause his bio translates really well into his ingame abilities
I am curious if someone mentioned it, but this theme is not one of Kleds's. Someone, somewhere said that it is actually Kleds and Scarras, which is represented by two different melodies (random, cheerful is scarras, the baddass one is kleds). You can even hear moment at which he dismounts, because cheerful/stupid melody is gone (scarra flee). Just a cool thing someone mentioned somewhere.
