@@soslothful Yes it was written by 2 Germans, as a tribute to the spirit of the Highlands after the Highland Games that were held in Germany, and as an act of admiration to the fact that people could again be friends despite their history. Despite what many people think, it's pretty modern, as it was written in 1982. It's special because it so well expresses the Highland spirit, most people will mistake it for an older traditional Scottish song, so it shows the deep understanding people from different cultures can achieve. There are lyrics too, though they are not well known.

She is a grade 1 piper from Inverary and District Pipe Band. They have won the Piping Live Quartet competition from 2011 to 2015 and they are run by Stuart Liddell.

And Christchurch NZ Botanical Gardens shows when I was there as a kid with family, and still today they play there, I love this music AND the Scotts!
