- The Uxbridge Legion Pipes and Drums staged a flash mob at Zehrs in Uxbridge, on Saturday March 24th, much the surprise and delight of shoppers.

I was fortunate to travel around England in the 1970's.
I don't think I made it to Uxbridge.
But I did get to Umbridge.

The bass drummer sets the beat the cadence and the marching speed so yes probably the most important musician in the band!
@@tackleberry357 I know what the bass drummer does. My comment had absolutely nothing to do with the musical function she performs in the band and everything to do with the obvious enthusiasm and flare she has for it.

I love the pace. Too much pipes and drum music is thought to be rather funereal, but his is lively, the young lady has it just right.

That cadence the bass drummer is playing is way off. Too Fast for one and he's really going Hollywood with that cadence and pace. Never heard a pipe bass drummer play it that fast and oh well what do I know...I am just an old bass drummer.
They had no tenor drums, he was playing both parts, base and tenor.
