As an Australian I am deeply disturbed by the fact that forgettable mark and stepson Jamie will be getting out of jail soon, once someone has committed such heinous crimes I don't think they should be let out in to society again as I feel like their chances of reoffending are high.
Agreed. It is a terrifying thought they will be back out roaming and may cross my son and I .... I pray they are watched by police but I fear evil finds a way.

One of the worst side effects of the case (on top of the heinous stuff that happened already) is that the media labelled them “The Snowtown Moiders” (obviously spelt the normal way but don’t want to get flagged) even though they took place in the Suburb of Elizabeth. It literally destroyed this towns economy and it’s basically just a service station now because no one will go near it. The town and everyone there are really lovely but it’s crazy how it was destroyed because of the media’s labelling of the case

A lot of people here in Australia and in the US don't know that Australia has a tiny population of just 25 million. California alone has 39 million. So when this happened, it rippled across Australia and so when Bailey says it's awful WE KNOW 😅😅

yeah I used to have a roommate from Sydney and literally every time we met another person from Sydney, she either knew them or they shared multiple mutual friends. She said it was because Aus is so sparsely populated & the vast majority of the population are located in the major cities, so it results in this bizarre Everybody-Knows-Everybody situation.
The connections between everyone is crazy. How no one found almost none of the bodies when they were just right there is even crazier. This whole case is just baffling.
The fact that Vanessa's body was lying rolled up in a rug inside her home for MONTHS while there was an active missing persons case on her is beyond baffling!!!

I live in Adelaide. My dads friend’s parents bought the house where some of the bodies were dismembered. My dad’s friend was renting the place from his parents. My dad went to the house and his friend showed him a hole in the driveway that is used for doing mechanic work on your car. He told me the blood was never cleaned up and his friend showed him it there. There was also a large tree trunk in the backyard used for chopping wood for a fireplace that still had blood on it

I'll be honest, I've been watching tour videos for a long time and this is the first one I had to skip through parts of. I watched part one and two and it was TOUGH. Just so much sadness. It just seemed never ending. Sending you much love and positive vibes. ❤

When the friend was stepping over the rolled up carpet with Vanessa's body inside it, HOW did they not smell it? Like really? I don't see how the carpet could mask a smell like that.

@amandas7455 that smell is very dependent on different factors. There can be virtually no smell -to u need to 🤮 with one wiff. And everything in between.

This whole thing like with any documentaries of this kind is absolutely horrifying, disgusting and mostly infuriating. Like so many individual gone like that in such a gruesome manner and nothing happened following upto that . I wonder how did I come to this point of life unharmed in any manner listening to these unimaginable scenarios that wnt with these people. Jus rip so much to say but I ll zip it .
my understanding is... they weren't looking for Vanessa. Noone thought she was dead or even missing. That's why no-one searched her house. They were looking for another victim and noticed interesting ATM usage.

I remember hearing about this story and then my dad telling me he actually personally knew some of the people in this case 💀 He was in the same car as some of them!
It really is horrible and I wish the best for the families of the victims, and hope they were truly granted some sort of justice.
My Grandparents lived on Waterloo Corner. My uncle has Schizophrenia, he knew these guys and was invite to their place to chill out. Lucky he never went. The area was council housing so a lot of people to prey on. So glad my uncle never went.

I’m from Melbourne and even though this case is horrific etc I also really feel for Snowtown. That name still carries a huge stigma, they didn’t deserve any of that
And it didn’t even happen in Snowtown that was just where they stored the bodies. Forever tainted.
I live in Adelaide and I passed through from a weekend away and it was like a ghost town. Very eerily dead. So sad 😞
I actually live a 15-20 minute drive from where they lived. Creepy.

You should look into Charles Ng and Lenard Lake. They where super messed up and I use to live about a mile from their house. My parents actually knew them from the local bar and said they where super weird and nobody liked them. I also use to know someone who claims to have helped did their torture bunker

Vanessa’s dogs were inside and I don’t think anyone took them for walks so they probably pooped inside and it covered the smell
That’s what I was thinking too. If you’re feeding the dogs and letting them out to the bathroom you would think she would’ve noticed a smell. I mean even if you thought some food was going bad I would look. Idk I’d be suspicious of a rolled up carpet out of place there too. Having to step over it idk. Seems to be so oblivious.
The dogs hopefully had a doggy door to let themselves in and out. But yeah the smell from the rug idk

That film gives me chills still! I think everyone in Australia knows about this case. It was so terrible they actually considered changing the name from Snowtown to Rosetown in the late 90s, but the townspeople actually voted against it
Hey Bailey, I just want to say I enjoy watching and listening how you tell these peoples stories and the horrible events that occurred. You have so much respect for the families in every case. One case I'd like to see you cover is the case of Dan Markel. The attorney in Florida who's was shot down in his own driveway, and his ex-wife and her family were responsible. Along with many others. You are one of my favorite true crime channels to watch😁

I live 5mins from one of the houses that the murderers used to stay at and they tried to get my friends mum to go for a drive to snow town with them when she was in highschool, her gut instinct told her not to go! I have no idea how Baileys videos started getting delivered to me. I wasn’t into true crime at the time and like never do my makeup, like NEVER. (I still have a Revlon metallic colours cream eyeshadow palette from like 2009…that’s how never I do my makeup), but here we are, 4 years later, keeping an eye out every Monday for a new MMM 😅.
