My late wife used to love watching this channel. She resembles the host, almost scary. I watch these here and there but she reminds me of her way too much and I'm just always busy especially since she passed earlier this year. Because most places view animals as property so it's treated more like vandalism if anything.. it's unfortunate.
The real question is why isn’t there stricter laws for child abuse

A lot of them build up and get worse and worse because nothing is ever done to them on their "lesser" charges.
What blows my mind is that all these people with horrible pasts became a part of each others lives and influenced all these bad decisions! 😳😱 wild!!!!

This has to be one of the most horrific stories Bailey has done. And confusing...I have to watch it again carefully so I can keep track of everyone. But the amount of abuse inflicted on children and by abused adults in this story is insane. The cycle kept going. Everyone in this story is a terrible bad person but they're also people who were failed by their own families and the government. Cant wait for part 2.

As someone who was born and raised in South Australia (Adelaide) and lived in the suburb these crimes took place during these crimes 😅, I recommend watching the movie Snowtown if you’re interested in this case. It was filmed locally and is an extremely accurate depiction of the crimes and what low income areas were like at the time. I think it’s hard to envision the trauma and lifestyle if you aren’t from here, or at least Australian. ❤

This story has me just without words. I'm glad you're doing a part 2 because my brain needs the break. As with most of these stories it just shows how important early childhood development is. So sad, honestly.

Cannot believe you’re covering this story! I’m from Adelaide, Australia, everyone here knows this story, but I never thought I’d hear you tell it. It sounds terrible to say I’m excited for this one.
A lot of Americans know it too. It's pretty famous, especially among the true crime community. I mean, it's so crazy, of course it was going to make international news. Plus, there's the movie, which gave it a lot of worldwide exposure.

ugh, I grew up in Paralowie, just down the road from the house and it traumatised me as a child. This is one of those true crime stories that is really hard to watch.

@@CaliAnimalLover thank you. He went into the hospital a year ago December 29 so it's already being different this year. I saw him that December 20 and gave him his Christmas early because he'd been ill and I wanted to make him smile. I was so glad I went when I did.

I'm 17, and my aunt was actually involved in this (who was on one of the investigators) and she explained what happened yo me when I was young and asked a question about it. I was traumatized when she told me, like some stuff that wasn't public. (things they found etc.)

My mum went to school with one of the victims, when I was growing up we lived not far from Snowtown and the story we were told wasn't the whole truth and im only learning this now. 😢

When you have Facebook & someone says how they love what you write, post, sent you a friend request but it didn't go through so could you send them a request? Chek That Fraud by the image reverse search & you have done another remarkable thing dug up yet another scammer which would lead to check/cheque/Chek fraud. Voila!

My baby girl Kira (cat) absolutely loved your videos. Anytime I listened to you she would sit and just be fascinated and watch. She unexpectedly passed away October 2nd and I haven't been able to make it through your videos since. Until today. I made it through.

Parasocial attraction , as well as seeing a familiar face/hearing a familiar voice become emotional has an effect on one's own emotions too. We don't know these victims so while it's normal and common to feel empathy for them, the attachment isn't always there to invoke deeper feelings. Obviously there are people more empathetic than others but it doesn't make the latter insensitive to not react with the same intensity.

This happened a few suburbs away from where I live. I think people need to know about these heinous crimes. I remember being about 13 when all of this was discovered. The house has been demolished and a nursing home built where it was. The bank still exists and people go to Snowtown to see it....people are disgusting.
I think the bank was up for sale recently, think I saw on the news. Wouldn’t want to buy it. We’ve got a shady past here in SA

The beginning of this story is literally mine... A bad life is no excuse. I had a horrific childhood also. I'm married, I'm a home health nurse, and my kids are doing wonderful. No excuse
People are all different. I don’t condone the actions at all, but if we as a society don’t stop turning our noses up at people whose trauma turned them into monsters these people won’t be addressed properly. By telling people this is how they “should” be, bc that’s how “you are” does absolutely nothing to solve real issues that are really happening.

I’ve been waiting for years for you to do this story.
I’m from Adelaide and this story blew up the whole state when it came out.
A lot of it happened in the suburb next to mine and we knew of so many of the people involved.
Freaky stuff that’s still talked about these days.
There’s also a movie called Snowtown of anyone is interested.
They used locals to play most of the roles including my friend who plays the Elizabeth.
I’m so glad Bailey finally did this one.
