I went with the Google Pixel 9 Pro due to the smaller form factor. Recently switched over from an iPhone and like the fact it feels similar to it. If Samsung Galaxy had a S24 Ultra in the S24 form factor, I would honestly consider it.

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max but I’ve got to use the S 24 ultra and my brother has it and that is a hell of a phone. It’s like a Swiss Army knife with everything built-in that you need or would want. As a long-term iPhone user I was very impressed with that phone!!! if my whole ecosystem was not with already Apple with purchased stuff in the Apple library, I would definitely switch to the S 24 ultra today no questions asked.
@Liquoricilicious its honestly never been an issue for me. Bright enough for daily use imo. Pixel 9 pro XL is a nice alternative if youre not deep into the samsung ecosystem or care about Dex, but to me Samsung has the more complete experience and most features
@@dawntodusk8903 I'm upgrading from an iPhone, and the new iPhones have ugly front cameras overlapping with widescreen video. So I might overcorrect and get the square-shaped S24U. Can't decide
Sold my s24 ultra due to its size. Great phone but was too uncomfortable going out in the boat and being active. Prefer a smaller form set and easy to hold. Phones have gotten too big in my opinion for people on the go.
In the event that both options are available, I would opt to acquire both devices. While it may appear redundant as both are Android-based smartphones, they each possess distinct advantages that I would be delighted to utilize. Great choice 👍 I have a hard time myself 😅 but for me I like the camera features on s24 ultra being able to record two cameras at the same time 🎥 flip back and forth while video recording 🔄 no one really talks about that great video 📹 keep up the good work 👍
I have both s23u & s24u. Just to mention that 45w doesn't exist. Maximum 34-35W. And also, it is not consistent even with Samsung chargers (45w or 65w official). Coming from an oneplus is day and night regarding charging. I've replaced charging port on s23 ultra after 6 months and now the microphones are not always working right. Its not perfect.
Traded in S24 ultra and got a Pixel 9 PRO XL 512gb and just so fluid and smooth all I do on the Pixel...and the pictures as you mentioned just better. Charging with Pixel 45w charger is real good ...try it. Gemini is surprising how good it is...read unread emails, recipes , notes, workouts, youtube summarize and search within videos...unreal. Love this Pixel.
Yes the pixel for me has been what a phone should be as a phone smooth, responsive, cool AI features, long battery life and the cameras are simply amazing. And I'm saying that as a mainly iPhone user I have both devices but I'm starting to lean towards the pixel more and more
As an owner of the Pixel 7 pro I still see a complete lack of features with the camera (i.e. manual\pro mode) and no dual recording on the pixel - really? They added shutter speed and ISO which is fine, but still need to rely on too much automatic features (such as astrophotography mode) - in my opinion Samsung still blows google phones away.
No 3,000 nit screen, no call notes, no call screening, no always on music listening, too big, boxy and heavy, slow software updates (6 months with ultra HDR photos not working for 50MP/200MP photos). No sorry S24U losses this battle.
