I keep seeing comments about volume issues, but I can hear you just fine. This is the second video of yours I've watched today--one at home on my TV (10 things I quit after 50) and this video just now on my Android phone through my Bluetooth earbuds. At home, I didn't have to turn up the volume from my usual listening level. For this video, I did raise the volume, but I could still hear you.
@@11hanim Thank you. I am using a mic, but I have started turning the volume up to max on my new videos. I hope that will help. I am out of my league with editing!!!
My husband lost his job of 40 yrs and needs 5 more years to work before retiring. Trying to stay positive he can find a new position. Unfortunately, ageism is a real thing, and the job market is very tough.
@@Elizabeth-ke3ti I am so sorry! That is hard, but I can tell you that your attitude through this time will make a difference. I was just thinking about this as I was walking this morning. Have you ever heard the saying "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are right?" Attitude is everything. Ageism is real, but your husband has wisdom that younger men don't have. He has a lifetime of skills that younger men don't have. And he still has value. You are his greatest cheerleader and he needs you to be positive while he is struggling through this. These times test us, but I have a feeling you guys are resilient and you are going to come out of this better and stronger than you went into it!
@@CarrieOnCoaching Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. Luckily, he has 10 months of severance pay which will be ending the end of November. He is waiting to hear about a job , and has one interview set up for next week. Staying positive, and I've also told him he has wisdom and life skills that comes with age and years of experience in the business world. I found your channel by accident today, and it brought me encouragement today. Keep spreading your wisdom, I'm the same age as you, and feel much younger too! Everything you've said is 100% true! Many thanks again! Best of luck with your new channel. 🙂
@@Elizabeth-ke3ti you guys have this. I am posting a video on Monday morning that I hadn't planned to post yet, but because of you I am sharing it sooner. I hope you find it encouraging!
Are you going to take control of your 4th quarter???
You are so right 🫶🏻 I stopped watching the news, too! ❤
Isn't it life changing? Thank you for watching and commenting!
Heaven sent message. Thank you!!!
Thank you for the encouragement! I hope it helps you to make the most out of the next few months!
