Guys, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret - nobody who's played this game in their childhood cares that the F22 isn't a carrier-purposed aircraft. We only cared about the sick guitar riff and shooting down planes.

i hope that someday Bandai will make a decent remake of Ace Combat 2 for the current gen (XB Series X, PS5 and PC) I don't mean an Assault Horizon Legacy remaster, but a remake, bringing together the best of both games
@@ojasrokade8635 Considering that Osea and Yuktobania are allies, and the only reason the circum-pacific war ever happened were belkan extremists usurping the goverments of both countries and forcing them into a war, as revenge for their defeat 15 years prior, yeah, it is totally possible in Strangereal for an SU57 and a F22 to collab in AC8 or any other future AC games. Although I'd rather see a conflict between two completely new nations in AC8 rather than seeing Osea and Yuktobania again (even though Osea is my favourite country in Strangereal);
So... For those interested. I'm planning on also remaking the AC2 endings. I've learned some stuff and EEVEE has been getting even better so it should be fun. Will start to actively work on it some time in July. I'll try to post some updates on twitter (@lual1718) when I start.

While true, there may have been some consideration from the Navy. I remember the old Jane's Fighters Anthology sim gave the Raptor a tail hook. That game also had the X-32 prototype (which would become the current F-35B).

I always loved the fact that the Sukhoi had to come and save the F22 cos he was being outfought by a MiG 21.
