Love this! We use a G7 alongside 3 G85's and love it! I honestly forget that it's a different camera. The only reason we've got the 85's for the others is because they're handheld, so IBIS is nice :) but couldn't agree more here!
Yeah thatâs another benefit I didnât mention! If you need some of those other camera features like IBIS.. there are plenty of cameras in the Panasonic ecosystem that still match well together
No we donât do IMAG.. but we were, I probably wouldnât go with anything less than the BMD Pocket 4K cameras. They have almost no hdmi delay unlike the G7s
What is your conversion? Hdmi to sdi using a decimater? Do you have latency issues with syncing audio and video for recordings and live streaming? What do you use for focus and zoom control? Do you use an external monitor as well?
We're currently using the ATEM TV Studio HD, so we have some HDMI and some SDI inputs.. and a few of our cams are close enough that we can go HDMI straight in! But yes, for some runs we need to convert to SDI. Currently no focus and zoom control.. all manual by our camera op. Camera op has two cameras and a multiview monitor all at the same desk. We sometimes use a mobile camera operator for one camera as well. The rest of the cams we can set focus/zoom once and be good
Hey Zach, We're using a Canon XA11, A SimpleTrack Lite from PTZ Optics and a PTZ Optics 30X-SDI. Not really happy with this setup. I wish we would have gone with Fixed Focus cameras. The PTZ Camera are very difficult to Balance Colors to not only the Canon but between the 2 as they don't have the same settings in the cameras. Cheers
Yeah PTZ are tough to make look good! Itâs possible, but not always easy. A church I did a tech tour with had some of the best looking PTZ images Iâve seen th-cam.com/video/C5HgeAKpVXY/w-d-xo.html
In 4K recording yes they have a 30min limit but thereâs no limit in 1080p. But for live-streaming it wonât matter because weâre not recording in-camera but sending that output to the switcher!
Thank you for this video! What's the name of your church to view their livestreams?
Hey bro, great content! I was wondering how you get video with lyrics on your live stream? We could only have one or the other.

Great video. Does the church transmit video on an LED screen or projector? I'm curious what the HDMI delay is in the G7.

Question, do these time out after 30 minutes like many brands do, where you have to restart the camera?
In 4K recording yes they have a 30min limit but thereâs no limit in 1080p.

same camera g7 cool but how you color grade
Donât color grade for the live stream! All the colors are straight out of camera.
