He just blows me away, so underrated at the time, I think people have only recently started to appreciate what an amazing talent that he was. His voice gives me goosebumps and to me he is the greatest singer of all time. His vocal range is off of this planet. RIP Bobby Hatfield.
I remember when he sang this song. I was in high school. These guys were awesome together. I still have all of their vinyl record albums in my collection. ❤
I am so happy that Bobby chose not to sign that major league baseball contract. If he had followed that path, we may never have been blessed with hearing his amazing voice.
The Righteous Brothers were regulars from 1964-1966 on the Shindig TV show where Bobby sang "Summertime" in this video & after this clip Bill sang "Old Man River" solo.
