Wow! What maturity you are expressing in the way that you look at music that was sung in the 60s
I am 77 years old, so I have the joy of hearing that kind of music as a teenager! You have a gift as a philosopher, and a prophet inside of you that is inspirational to behold! God has great things in store for you
Thank you for your tremendous insight. And amazing reactions to this song! Listen to their, “ you’ve lost that loving feeling,” “you’ll never walk alone,” “brown eyed woman,” and “unchained Melody.” You will love each of them justice much!❤

It is lovely to see a young gentleman appreciate the beauty that existed in the day. I was a kid then. I'm a grandmother now. The performance has not aged.

I love your appreciation for the talent of the late, great Bobby Hatfield. He was in a league of his own. He threw his mind, body and soul into everything he sang.

Bobby and Bill both sang everything with passion. That's why they were so good. Bobby was just absolutely amazing with his vocal range.

This man can SING! This is the best of blue-eyed soul! Bobby has an amazing voice. I believe he's got a 4 octave range! Remember....no autotune or tricky studio gimmicks at that time....just pure raw talent! Loved your reaction King.

Bobby was the such a great tenor. You need to listen to the brothers sing you'll never walk alone onthd Ed Sullivan show in 1965. I was in high school when they came out in 1964. I'm so glad you're enjoying them. Please listen to their other hit songs. They never disappoint you! ❤❤❤

I’m so thankful for these reaction videos. I forgot how much I liked the Righteous Brothers music. I loved them in high school and many years after.

Bobby and Bill were always joking around. Bobby gave everything to every performance. They split up a couple of times for a few years but got back together. Both were great singers individually or together. Watch them sing 'What'd i Say" live on the Andy Williams show!

No auto-tune...just God-given talent. Bobby had a beautiful tenor voice, and his range was just crazy. lol Bill's baritone was soul deep and soulful...they're tone just blended beautifully together. Their style of singing was called R&B, blue-eyed soul music. Here's another song by the "RB" *"Righteous Brothers - Dream On" (by the Channel: Righteous Brothers Discography)* And if you'd like to hear another artist from the same time period. I'd suggest giving this one a listen. *"Janis Joplin - Me And Bobby McGee (Official Music Video)"* Nice reaction 👍thanks for sharing.

I wonder which came first in '65. This performance or Unchained Melody. Both amazing.

The Unchained Melody one of my favorite songs came after Summertime in the 70's . His vocals are out of this world !

More blue eyed soul. Now you need to hear You’ll Never Walk Alone. Or Ebb Tide. Thank you.

A great song from the Broadway musical Porgy and Bess. Covered by lots of people. This was live, just him, the band, and a microphone. The other version I like as well as Bobby's is Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Bobby Hatfield, though, he could anything.

Listen to My Prayer, Somewhere , Guess who, ɓŕing it on home to me. HE , they have many duets and many solos.but it's Bobby, his voice and style, who lifts them so far above simply great; they are unique and loved.

But you didn't get the joke at the end...there is magic between them...they were magical on stage and off...oh how I miss the 60's and the Wall of Sound, the Wolfman, my 66 GTO, and summer nights.

Summertime is one of my favorite songs... sung by many great artists over the years. Some of mine are: Billy Stewart - he does a very popular scat version. Sam Cooke has an alternative (faster) version - he also sang: 'A Change Is Gonna Come'. Sarah Vaughn's version is sultry and she made this song her own - she did it her way! Then, there's Mahalia Jackson's version - class act - she also sang the song 'Trouble of the World' from the movie: 'Imitation of Life' with Lana Turner and John Gavin. I also like Janis Joplin's version as only she can do it. And, Billie Holiday - as well as Ella Fitzgerald. There were (and still are) quite a few singers/artists who have sung Summertime - it's a classic tune. I don't think I have ever heard someone sing this song and didn't like it - each are unique. I think you will like them too!
