Hello. Your advice of composing the question in the third person and linking it to a time frame is sublime. This will eliminate many uncertainties when reading the oracle's given outcome. I love your use of black, red, and white in the video. Your channel deserves a lot more subscribers. 🙏🌹

I am originally a Vedic astrologer, but I also practice Tarot reading. I would like to expand my knowledge in the world of divination and seek change. I thought about learning this Chinese technique because I really appreciate its detail, complexity, and the wisdom it offers, especially the themes of the lower human self and the higher self.

Thank you so much for sharing and the important work you do. Having worked with both systems, I am more inclined to the I Ching as it is so specific, whereas the Tarot to me requires a much more intuitive connection. Yet having both is a powerful deepening in symbolism that benefits your work in both. Best wishes!

@@IChingCafe Thank you for your response. Yes, I combine these elements to make the readings for my clients even better, more accurate, and more interesting. The tarot aspect doesn't appeal to me as much, to be honest, because it requires too much intuition, there's too much space for interpretation, and it can also give room to emotional atmospheres, which can detract from the clarity of the reading. Sometimes, it’s better to work with a more serious, complex, and definitive system where the true message can have significantly more room to emerge.

If the meaning of an I Ching divination has you stumped, another way to get at the crux of the matter is to conduct a follow-up divination about your question. Being able to make meaning out of the bits and pieces is called "abstract thinking," and people who have a stronger aptitude for abstract thinking it will do better at interpreting any oracle, not just the I Ching.

Interesting. I'm an engineer person, not very intuitive and maybe that's why I've always had a hard time understanding I Ching answers

You spoke on how to calculate the main energy hexagram, and the transforming hexagram, but not the outcome hexagram. How do we go about calculating the outcome hehexagram. Thank you so much for these amazing tutorials, I love your straight forward yet rich delivery! Thank you for your contribution ❤

Thanks Tambo! Really appreciate your very kind words. Have you managed to watch the episode on how to cast the coins? th-cam.com/video/lN1lfXtrbzU/w-d-xo.html This includes how you draw up the outcome hexagram. Let me know if this helps. 👍

@IChingCafe yes, I did! I thought that the change was symbolized by the hexagram we get from the changing lines of the first hexagram (the main energy).
So, we have the main energy first hexagram, then the change would be presented by the lines that change ( where we get 6&9) and the outcomes will be the new hexagram that comes from those changing lines.
The only thing I'm missing in this 3 step reading is learning about the 1,2,3,4,5,6 lines - what they mean so when the change happens in any of them I can know how to read them. Do you have any tutorials on the 6 lines?!?
      Thank you again!
