OMG, let that bike breathe... I have the same bike, the only "right" shift I've heard was during an overtake. I live near Mandello, were Guzzi are made, you can hear the bikes cruising alongside lake Como at a confortable pace, not suffocated with low shifting.. Let that engine sing ❤
Bought V7III a couple of weeks ago, and discovered that this low revving engine likes to go on high revs, between 3000 and 4000 rpm rides good, around 5000 rpm and over it goes wild. It also sounds like it has triple the power. Sometimes I ride it in low revs, like 2000-3000 rpm, if I just want to go slow 50-60 km/h.
Guzzi's are an oversquare motor they want to rev. Generally speaking they start pulling around 4 K At low power settings and between 5.5 and redline when wringing them out. I know you were in traffic but I don't think I heard your Motor get over 3K?
The guy I bought my Guzzi from (who owned seven other Guzzi, and had a Moto Guzzi tattoo) said "shift it between 3.5 and 5k, it likes that best". And he's not wrong! I feel like my little small block does it's best scooting around at half throttle and 4500rpm. It never seems underpowered and just feels happy there. That said, it has also seen plenty of 500+ days at 6000rpm for eight hours straight... Oh the crap I put that poor 90,000 mile bike through 😁
Great thing with a V7; no matter what new trumpet you put on, it’ll sound glorious. I personally went for the Agostini’s since police is very severe with loud pipes here in Québec. In fact, the rules are very unclear: 100 db max., BUT…the cop can file you with a ticket if he has the perception your pipe is too modified. What is a “perception of a pipe that’s too modified”? Well, you’ll know if and when you will get the ticket. That’s why riders avoid their bikes between the 27th and the 31th of the month in Québec: we know police will try to reach their quota. And modified pipes are easy catches. And that’s why I went with Agostini. More guttural and deep sound than Mistral, which can be heard from a mile around. I calculated 96 db without the db killers, so I should normally be good to go without being bothered. Still, are Mistral pipes sounding great? You bet. That’d be my pick.
A bit blatty for me , a bit too raw I think . However your gear change sounds much better than I have heard elsewhere ; how many miles has your bike done . or do you use some oil additive or maybe fettled the change in some way ? Love these bikes , but the gear change seems awful .... I used to have a Laverda 750 which was agricultural in its gear change , but very positive .
True! I would ride my SV650 like that.. 3000RPM. Now ride a Harley.. it's just so much much happier below 3000RPM.. it's the best bike for this sort of ride.

@@erikacalissi5729 I like drive it like this. But some days I drive with high shifting. Don’t worry 🏍️

Fantastic sound, i have a moto guzzi v7stone too... Which terminal have you put on it?
Mistral Exhaust
Amazing sound! How do you record it? A mic near the exhaust?
Zoom mic in my pocket
Hi! How does the engine get hot near your knees?
Sounds absolutely killer ❤❤❤
Was it a lot quieter with the original exhaust???
A looot quieter. With Mistral pipes is perfect
I read that there is a Mistral exhaust on the Guzzi. Can you tell me the exact type of exhaust?
La v7 ça a vraiment de la gueule j,adore et ce son
Why is he always blipping the throttle?
Straight pipe? 😃

Is the muffler pure?
The sound is very particular, sounds like something between a Harley and an L-Twin, less boxery.
" GENIAL " ! 👍 ✌
How to lug your engine 101
*cough, cough* ... indeed.
Nice, I shift just like this, I like to be in the low revs. Great video!

Vous m'avez l'air grand. Est ce que je me trompe? Je mesure 188CM et je me demande si je ne ferai pas trop grand.
Don't short shift it so much, it's not a Harley 😎
He can ride however he wants 😂
Appunto è una Guzzi...
To me this is one of the best sounding bikes.
Its not a high revving Japanese bike either

Si tu veux une Harley, achète une Harley... Tu es en sous-régime là. Et sans chicanes tu fais sans doute trop de bruit aussi.
