Basically, Zelda has a Gmod gun in her possession.
Zelda doesn't have a gmod gun it's more of a copy stuff that copies anything, including enemies, to help Zelda too find Link after he disappeared.

When there are so many impactful games, even the recap is 1/3 the length of the Direct.
Surprised that the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection didn’t get mentioned.
It took 13 years for AAI2 to be officially released outside of Japan, and now Ace Attorney fans get to argue about the official names versus the fan translation names again!
I hope to see another Great Ace Attorney some day those became my favorite after the second one. I just love the characters.

well if "Eustace Winner" is a real official name, I'm going back to the fan translation to die on that hill lol. The game looks gorgeous, though. Love the new sprites.
@@jedimasterpickle3 I think Winner is meant to be wordplay. Rather than Sebastian literally being a winner, it alludes to him being both a "winner", but also a "whiner".
Most people online have taken to calling him a "Useless Wiener", though.

This was probably one of their best directs in a long time, especially significant with it being the Switch’s endgame. The resurrection of Mario & Luigi, Dragon Quest I-III HD, DKC Returns HD, Marvel VS Capcom Collection, a literal Zelda game, Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, and finally revealing Metroid Prime 4.
The Switch is gonna be crossing the finish line with style, which I think hasn’t been done with a Nintendo console since the SNES.
The winner and still champion Nintendo Direct.

I keep imagining that the guys that developed the basketball mode for the sports game are like nintendo's newer hires that got their first chance to develop something. And that is the result. Like a small project delivered where it would have little impact if it goes wrong and people who already enjoy the game will be delighted if it is competent or better.

3:08 now we just need a free remaster of dragon quest tacts story Mode without the S rank units that break the game with the heroes and archfiends being downgraded to A rank, some balance Changes, no gacha but instead a shop you use the coins from the levels from to buy new Monsters or awaken them with duplicates, no arena mode, no events but instead the challenges tab (which is the event reminisce menu from the original tact), ability tomes in the same monster shop, and multiple endings and i will be happy

Anytime someone complaints to Nintendo about "not preserving games" it should be reminded that Nintendo is the only company that keeps the codes of all the games that couch their consoles, even the third party games.
I remember how, despite Square Enix losing the source code for the original Trials of Mana, Nintendo actually had a copy on their servers, and that’s part of the reason why Collection of Mana is a Switch exclusive.
Virtual console games are roms downloaded from one of the pirate sites they shut down, rom watermark included, just bundled with a propietary emulator.

That's basically what my problem with the Nintendo Switch library is like: ports, remakes, and/or remasters. Almost nothing original comes out, and when something original is thrown to the table, it is often mediocre at best or people just didn't care enough, making the games seem like a commercial failure in the eyes of Nintendo.

makes perfect sense to port a ton of old shit to the switch cause it's clearly a lot of people's first nintendo system and the first system in a long way for people who took a long break from gaming.
Plenty of original stuff has come out, I'm not even sure if there's more ports than new things, and much of it has been good; at worst, a bit too safe.
nintendo has done plenty of wrong that should be pointed out, but refusing to give due credit is how you get people to not listen to you.

Im pretty sure there's still gonna be one more direct before the next console, probably in september and from that point on directs are gonna feel like 2017-2019 where directs had to have contents for both switch and the 3Ds. At least until nintendo stops supporting the switch.

There were some hidden gems but personally I felt that this Direct was mostly mid and not peak like I saw the rumors say that it was going to be.
