While the trailer for Reynatis was in Japan only, the game is coming to the west. I know because I was able to preorder it at my local GameStop.

Mother 3 getting a re-release but only for Japan... These jokes write themselves.
There's an amazing translation patch for Mother 3 by Tomato which would be better than anything Nintendo would do if it was localized. And it is very easy to get and patch it into the game which you can also easily get and play it on your PC, your phone or any gaming device you want that can run a GBA emulator.
Nintendo will never release the game outside Japan as sad as it is. So just play the game and enjoy it.

Basically, legal nightmares is more or less why Mother 3 hasn't officially left Japan (Assuming Moon Channel's video is correct). Might have to wait a few more decades
At this point I'm more willing to believe in Mother 4 than an English release of 3.

I think we will get it probably a year from now. The game is published by furyu, which means nis america will likely pick up the title like how they did on past furyu titles

Update: NIS America has the rights and will be bringing it to the ps4, ps5, and switch this fall.

I think you are a bit mistaken about Fantasy Life, it's originally a game on 3DS that is a Final Fantasy sim game with stories and battle and job system, but with crafting as the main gameplay. It even have Nobuo Uematsu composing for it. So it's completely unrelated to Animal Crossing.
Their voices comfort me so is as if they don't even raise their voices to make you feel agitated or scared. I wish people can talk like this more often without raising their voices.

I don't care what anyone has to say about Fantasy Life. I've been waiting for the next mainline entry for so long, and this looks like it's going to deliver even if they are adding in extra life sim elements. Honestly, FFV's job system crossed with LoZ's top down gameplay should be enough to get anyone to play it.

Recently playing Yakuza remind me of earthbound. Kasuga with his bat fighting all weird enemy, especially the one enemy that attack with skate board. I feel like that's what really happened in earthbound series😂

Too bad the trailer wasn’t shown in the west, which is why people think it’s Japan only. If only they had released the trailer in the western Nintendo Direct, that confusion might’ve been avoided.

Outside of the joke it's understandable when you learn Mother 3 is plagued with copyright music and various other controversies. If Nintendo made those changes you'll bet the fandom will riot.

I feel like Atlus makes their games exclusives to guarantee some funding from another company, but as soon as they think they can turn a profit without being exclusive they jump ship on it. Only way I can explain some of the undeniably insane exclusivity decisions they’ve made. Still goofy that you can’t at least NG+ the definitive edition with old saves though because they make their games insanely long.

Now I'm a bit mad about not hearing anything about Reynatis, but I got SMT5 and Gundam Breaker 4 on PC as well as a rerelease of Battlefront 1&2 so I'm not too mad.
They messed up by not releasing a western Switch trailer for the game, especially since it is coming to the west, and lack of the western trailer makes people think it’s not.
Future me here. Mad they messed up that Battlefront rerelease.

I swear I was the only one who didn't flinch when hearing Mother 3 was coming to Switch. The first thing I said was "oh good to see Japan get something good," and didn't blink a second after that.
That's how accepting I am of Nintendo's weirdly stubborn stance on this game's lack of a localization. Hell, if a bunch of niche farm games are getting localized before Mother 3 will, I think that throws the curtain on Nintendo EVER, giving this game the limelight it deserves
Honestly, the moment I saw NSO got Fire Emblem 4 for Japan only, was the moment I know they would do the same for Mother 3. Still pretty sad we can't play these 2 great games officially translated :c

All jokes aside, if Nojima is going to use the leftovers of Versus Xiii script and uses it as it own, i going to be cautious if the game ever comes on the West. Nojima writing is not bad but still 100% better whatever it terms of what written in KH, well he did help write the first 2 games aside of CoM.

Overseas, about 4 games have been added to Switch Online instead of Mother 3, so why is Mother 3 such a hot topic? I'm a Japan person who is not familiar with the situation of overseas games, so I don't know.

Well lookie here. Apparently there were two Japanese-only games (one of which is Mother 3) and this is the first time I’m hearing about it.
they literally have no excuse as to why we culdnt get this in the western version of the apps. with the import games that were put n there untranslated already it makes no absolute sense whatsoever to keep them separate and not add them everywhere.
Mostly because the text heavy games would be next to impossible to enjoy for casual players. Those with little to no Japanese text, like Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, Vs. Excitebike, Mario's Super Picross, Panel de Pon, Sin and Punishment, and Pulseman can be enjoyed even if you can't understand Japanese.

Furyu always get shafted in the western directs, but that's probably because they're tiny. Caligula 2 was also announced in a JP Direct and still came out in the west even though I'm the only person who has ever played either of the games. Reynatis hopefully will too

One one hand they hate fangames, mods, fan translatatilns etc. And consider them crime. And then they take your mother away for the 3rd time and release it in japan only what the actual heck nintendo who hurt you.
I will play roms i will record playing roms and i will send it to nintendo staff. I wnat to know if i cause irrecoverable damage in the upper managment because considering how nintendo reacts towards such stuff they must be allergic. I am doing all this for mother 3 btw
