Cesc was 98, you wanna tell me Thierry was as good a passer as Cesc Fabregas? 88 for Thierry in passing is fair, he was not very good at long balls or crossing. Pace 94-95 don't go crazy, he was fast but it was his combo of pace and power and technique and mentality that made him a king not just one thing, he was never that kind of Marc Overmars or Theo Walcott style blinding speed you can send a through ball to in behind, his pace allowed him to keep players behind him but rarely to outflank them.
I remember a goal he scored at Blackburn after a 1 2 with Fabregas. Seemingly barely touching the ball at full flight it rocketed on the net so hard from like a mile away. Mehn it was smooth
It's accuracy and conversion too, there were better natural strikers of the ball. Thierry was the most swag/flashier of the strikers though, but that's not what the score is trying to tell us.
Some of the Icons get nice upgrades so they can be useful in the game, while some of them like Henry get ratings like this so they cannot be broke in game.

@@x_MVP Are you sure? I think the first time we started seeing 91s, 92s, 93s was with Messi and Ronaldo. I remember it surprised me the first time I saw it.

I hope one day ea will do these videos with the actual stats and what these numbers represent. Would make a much more interesting video to see players react to the actual specific stats, rather than the overall numbers. Pace for example: acceleration, sprint speed, etc. Passing:short pass, long pass, through balls, etc. Strength: physicality, jumping, heading, etc. These numbers are just averages, and not actual representation of the stats.
i love how he tossed the card on the floor. U know some execs at EA saw that and got mad as hell. I think it was well done because football fans feel the same about these ratings and game. Its like they put the stats of what they think he SHOULD be.

Henry had that mental strength as well, I know it's different to physical strength, but if you have a strong mentality in boxing for example, you get up from heavy punches more. In Henry's case, I've seen him angry and he will take freekicks repeatedly and put them FLAWLESSLY, penaltys too. And mental strength in Henry's case meant he wouldn't let you stop him, he had that strong mental confidence where he believed in himself so much, he felt he could win every challenge. I'm not a biased Asrenal fan, just a rival fan who admired that winner attitude

YOU can check his top speed. why do people make false claims which they know are easy to check up on, is it just that they believe it and dont even bother checking before saying something silly or do they know they're wrong and say it anyway?
@@jimmywenger8979 I remember the skysports halftime show when they recorded that top speed of 39.2km/h. The HT pundits couldnt believe it. It stuck so vividly in mind because I used to do a lot of sprinting, so I was blown away how fast he was.
No, kylian os quicker, but not by much
Thierry Henry:
97 overall score.
Passing: 98
Shot: 98
Accuracy: 93
Dribble: 95
Physical: 91
Pace: 98
This is the truth, but Fifa always wasn't fair with him.
But Thierry Henry will always stay on the list of the top 10 players of all time.
Whether they like it or not.
I'm an Arsenal fan and even I won't give him 98 in passing.
Love how Titi backed up Big Meeks for his pace.
Even that flicknof the card off the table was so elegant. Just because hes not akinfenwa size, doesn't mean he isn't strong.
TiTi being TiTi😂, the man is a living legend ,so put some respect on his name😂❤
Henry is a 96+ all day. There wasnt and hasnt been many better than him ever.
I love this group. so entertaining. great blend of characters. also love just how French titi is.
Henry's goal at the Bernabeu against Real was pure physicality - just shrugged off players like they weren't there!
Henry’s shooting should be at least 95…man had the capability of scoring from all angles..
cristiano or r9 would have 95 shooting... 98-99 is like best possible which aint possible
He scored not even facing the goal
@@XXBlueThanosXXof ours not possibly then it's not best possible now is it numptey
Some of the Icons get nice upgrades so they can be useful in the game, while some of them like Henry get ratings like this so they cannot be broke in game.
wasnt his prime 94 in past fifas?
EA trying to squeeze as much money out of their players as possible. He got a downgrade so they can release more cards of him and make more money. make no mistake.
97 overall in FIFA 2005
he had a shapeshifter 97 last fifa it was crazy good
@@x_MVP Are you sure? I think the first time we started seeing 91s, 92s, 93s was with Messi and Ronaldo. I remember it surprised me the first time I saw it.
it's a live card, so he has upgrade potential. +2 if arsenal win their nxt 3 matches.
Let’s not forget Henry was in the GOAT convo with r9 and Zidane before along came Messi and Ronaldo
even 92 wasn't enough so imagine my reaction when i realized he was actually 91
Henry is the best striker the premier league has ever seen. From the players who scored more than 100 PL goals he has the highest scoring ratio. He also made 80 asissts in 285 games. He is the only player to both score and assist more than 20 times in a season. “92” is criminally low.
Thierry Henry the reason I love football ❤
Don Thierry Henry was a beast, I remember him playing against mybteam Real Madrid and was playing against children, physically was strong
physical 80 are you MAD?!🤣🤣 love titi
I genuinely think thierry is underrated, everyone knows how great he is but this guy is a top 10 all time player in my opinion.
Top 10? Surely you must be joking lmao.
Messi, CR7, R9, Zidane, Maldini, Pele, Maradona, Zico, Garincha, Romario, Puskas, Di Stefano, Muller, Cruyff, Eusebio, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Platini, Beckenbauer + a million of players I forgot.
Henry is barely top 50.
@Sam-fq5qu you put Ronaldinho when in Henry's prime everybody compared him to Ronaldinho which shows Henry is on his level
henry>garincha,romario,eusebio,zico lmaooo@@Sam-fq5qu
@@babyfood9537comparing doesn’t mean equal…
@samstudy21 Henry was arguably just as good in his own way. Best striker in the world 2003-2006
Titi's card is a clear understatement of what abilities the man truly possesed, an insult to his contribution to the game... and his reaction was just right.
On the other hand, not a lot of people were probably keeping their eyes on Micah except when he blundered and pretty often too, but his pace is definitely not 85, that man was a tank with porsche like speed and I loved that Henry felt disgusted on his behalf too despite his larger than life energy
97 sounds about right for the Great Thierry Henry 👌🏼
Not that high 94-6 is right
@@kurtsudheim825 92 is disrespect tho. Peak Henry is a 97 _has to be_ .. which is what the Legend card supposed to be about. There was ZERO answer or comp for Henry in 🌏footy History.
Pelé is a 95
Pelé is overrated, in Fifa 2005 Henry was 97 and back in 2004 he was unstoppable@@smackey1099
Henry was a 95 or 96 overall, one of the greatest attacking players ever.
I could hear the London slang coming out of his mouth when he said “Are you mad?” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Hes a legend in America
- Ohhh its a lot easier here isnt it? " Micah
🤣
Henry on his day could literally do anything with a football. EA are wank anyway, but in terms of ratings he should be 95+, one of the quickest players ever, strong on the ball, creative hub for Arsenal, and when he went through one on one, who doubted him?
Couldn't score in finals though
95+ is being silly. C’mon, lets be honest. He’s quality but he isn’t prime CR7 or Messi level.
So they can release special editions of ot
@@KareemK-jl3sjya, cause that matters so much, to score in a specific few games in your whole career. & if then sitting next to him isn't used hos arm, he would have, so arguably did
@@MR12AMAZING lol he won more for club and country? Just didnt get the new paper trophy to top it all off.
Prime Henry was 188cm/88kg (6'2/200lbs) so 90 physically. Passing isn't only about assists, dribbling and shooting are debatable.
Physicality is not only strength, so i think 80 is fair.
By far the greatest ever Premier League player - coming from a Chelsea fan since mid-90s, who watched Henry destroy my team in the early and mid 2000s.
As a Man Utd fan, Henry was one of those strikers that put Arsenal in direct competition with a good Man Utd team. As years go by, you begin to appreciate and respect some of the legends that played football during those times. Even if from rival clubs. Henry is one of those players.
Henry is not wrong 😂
Jamie’s card is literally his legend card from back in the day
Henry in his prime we as a force to be reckoned. man was so fast he pass the ball to himself and he has elite passing
1:52 we need words! 🤣🤣🤣
Henry, what a BOSS haha 3:07
The cards are lower because he’ll get higher rated ones later in the season/summer
why does mbappe have 97 pace on his base card then? Henry was faster than him
EA has a recency bias
@@JreneMay how do so many people not know about Henry's speed man 😭 His top speed was 39 kmh and mbappe was 36
20 Premier League assists in one season and passing is 83??
He is among my favourite players of all time. No one could catch a running Henry. It was like the ball was magnetically attached to his feet. He could dribble past anyone, and score the most ridiculous goals. What an icon.
Micah: “achievements?!? I won the league!” 🤣
that boop at the end😂 Henry has become the meme
Haha he was genuinely pissed😅
Maybe people don’t think of Henry as physical because he was so smooth and not a diver, but he was solid as hell!
Was good with his hand at times too 🤷♂️
@@andrewcoulson2375 Yeah, it’s a shame his career was marred by that incident. He had a quick lapse in judgment, and jumped on an opportunity in a high stakes game. Up until that point, his style of play was known for not diving, cheating or whining. Call it a moment of weakness! 😁
@tomf.898 I liked him as a player, quality, but always gotta be truthful about it all 🙂
@@andrewcoulson2375 Yup. At least it wasn’t as blatant as Maradona’s! 😄

In ISS Pro Evo 2 … Henry was a beast.
Yh lets just get Cr7, Henry and Rrobben to have a foot race, big meeks and the gang hosting make it a charity thing.
He’s right he should easily have a 95-96 card
Henry was literally the best playmaker in the league aswell as an elite striker. If he had not been a striker they would have his passing stats in the 90s for his playmaking alone.
Of course they would. They give their stats based 90% on what position some one plays
Bergkamp wants to have a word
@@1973HenkY Bergkamp is my guy but Henry was better at everything
Micah was rapid he had Arjen Robben on toast at 18 yrs old he was really quick his pace is at least 93
thats what im saying dude. Just because he had a short career people tend to rate him very low as a player but he was a beast in young adult days.
Clint was a monster at fulham
fact that grown up men gets mad about simple things such as this is already comedical.
Hes one of the all time bests :D never seen anyone happy with their ratings.
92 for the greatest Premier League player of all time lol, he sure deserves a higher score. The Premier League is considered the toughest physically, and he bullied PL defenses for a decade without serious injuries. He sure deserves a 90 in PHY if not more.
The person who gave Henry his stats either never grew up watching him or they didn't want to overpower him in the game! Pace should be at least 97. Passing should be close to 90. Physical should be in the 90's
He’s on the mt Rushmore of strikers. Top 3 best strikers of all time hands down. Anyone who saw him play live would understand. You can’t fully appreciate his talent unless you saw him play live.
Absolutely not. Ronaldo, Van Basten, Romario, Pele, Puskas, Suarez were all superior. I would definitely put someone like Benzema over him and Mbappe has been doing things at 18 Henry wasn’t doing at 26.

Suarez and benzema are good but nowhere near elite or legendary like the 4 above. Romario I’d say is in the top 15 strikers list but just not elite.
Henry was a physical monster in his prime. He was so technically gifted people don't understand how ungodly strong he was.
Guy still holds most assists per season record and they gave him pas: 83 😂😂😂
King of open body shots and curls in the corners, not to talk about the knees slide, which everyone is doing now!
In fifa 05.. zidane, Buffon were 96, henry 97..
If Mbappe pace is 97, Henry had to be 97 too minimum
It's being about 20 years from the golden age of Arsenal and the most notable thing I remember about that team were their passes and counterattacks: Henry, Pires, Fabregas, Van Persie, Bergkamp, Toure, Cole, Viera
I've never seen a defender bully Thierry off the ball, he was probably as fast if not faster than Mbappe and his assist record is astounding. 95 atleast, atleast
That's terrible for Thierry. He was unstoppable and tenacious with it too. As an opposing fan he would be one of the very few I'd pay money to watch. That card and score is a disgrace.
FIFA's rating system is the issue. It's not as if they rate players well and made a mistake here. Players get ratings based on their positions
Henry overestimates how good he was as do most.
They made Carragher unplayable 😂😂
