Wow....... the detailed way the old man has saved and packed everything! He knew somebody would appreciate it after he passed, so glad it is in your hands now.
The way he had numbered the boxes makes me think he had a master inventory list of everything in those boxes. I think he was probably buying and selling, back in the day, and that was his filing system. It would also explain why everything was disassembled and split up, and why the book are all bagged.
I agree 100% that the old paperwork is very important to save, and to scan in to share with others before it is all gone! My own Standard-Triumph library goes back to the early 1930s, I still have gaps, but they are virtually impossible to fill. I've got spares too, but no one seems to want them anymore. 😕
Really amazed at how you organized everything!!! My father in law used to own a garage and restored early fords. There was so much to go through when he passed
My uncle bought a maroon 1940 ford coupe at the world's fair. He had the car for 20 years and finally sold it because someone stole the chrome headlight rings and he couldn't find replacements. When he would visit, my brother and I would sit in the driveway and drool over that car. It had the small fold down jump seats in the rear.
....sad but good, the stories of ones life with cars and stuff..... getting old is fun if your still able to have fun....friends die and help mates....then it's just you, and probably health issues.... I'm 71yrs young and try to stay focused, as an old engineer of certain crafts, I still stay active.....keep that in mind young fellas, time waits for no one.....pax....rew
The way you describe the owner as he got older kinda like me got the models to build as its hard most days to work on the real thing so build the models as close to possible and recreate the vision of cars possessed in the past. Looking forward to 39 Ford and 41 Lincoln running, thanks guys
@15:15 definitely under-seat heaters. I have one similar in my 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. My guess is it was a dealer option. Your vids are always so satisfying to watch!
That 40 Ford dash is from a later model 40 Ford standard because the ashtrays pull out instesd of pushing in and up which were on the earlier models - also; as you already know the gauge cluster style makes it a standard not a Dekux model.- great find and purchase on your behalf.
What amazing finds. I had no idea you could get some of these accessories, such as the seat heaters. I never knew Ford made auxiliary cooling fans for the 59 AB. Finding all that Columbia overdrive hardware is like owning your own gold mine. The real deal is very rare, and if you find it, is most likely incomplete. I'm very glad this rare stuff has found its way into the hands of someone who understands and appreciates it. My 1948 Super Deluxe 59 AB and I thank you. Looking forward to the video on the 39. Merry Chrstmas and Happy new year to all.
Finding a '39 is a big deal, but even more amazed to also find a '41 Lincoln...convert no less! WOW, what a huge find! Please, don't resto-mod the Lincoln! I know it's easier, but those cars are SO rare and beautiful.
Bought a used Holley 4160 off ITG a couple weeks ago and it arrived with a nice little stash of stickers. I put the "Perfectly Shitty" one on the rear window of my Ford... Mustang. 😏 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year folks. BTW: I buy records. Will be watching for them to pop up online at ITG.
If it helps the Henry Ford stamps looked to be the 1968 issue and are not really desirable or worth much. But if I were you I’d take them to Carlisle or Hershey and sell them for $5-10 a sheet as some Ford fans would buy them just to have to frame or put in their garage. Great vid as usual.
Wow!! That was the best Christmas present ever !!! Lots of truly rare and unique pieces !!! Actually, kind of a "horde" of them !! Would love to look through your catalog of reference/parts/bulletin books you mentioned when you get them sorted. How will we know when you are ready to list/offer them ?? Merry Christmas and wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024. Very anxious to see/hear that V-12 run !!!
For the old model T or A tools and parts. Or any old parts and tools get ahold Merlin over at Merlin's old school garage. He always seems to be looking.
That air pump you showed would run on a spark plug and the engine would run on 11 cylinders because both the zephyr and the Lincoln would of had 12 cylinder engines
Hi Guys, the book with the photographs of cars and lorries that you kept for your library do you have any like that for sale if so how much would they be Please. Or digital images of some of the real Art De co vehicles
Please don’t chop this coupe. Anybody can do that, but it’s only original once. There’s another guy who takes great ol cars and chops them, bad choice.

WOWZERS…. A warehouse to fill up. Awesome
What a puzzle to sort. Best it be kept and used ... great find
Yes - 41 Fords had underseat heaters - I found papers on them at the Henry Ford museum in Detroit.
If someone is industrious and has the time and patience, a lot of those manuals could be scanned, digitized and posted on-line for all to utilize.
photocopies of everything would be good too
That's a good idea. Hobbiests who deal with older film cameras do this.

I love that 39! I would get it driving and daily drive that the way it is. It's rolling history.

Great pick! This seems like a banner year for Iron Trap w/ the picks, and car purchases. Enjoyed the ride.
I think so too!
@15:15 definitely under-seat heaters. I have one similar in my 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. My guess is it was a dealer option. Your vids are always so satisfying to watch!
They work great but your feet get really hot!
Awesome video that blower is unbelievable I really love seeing people saving the old stuff you guys rock Wooooo!!!!!
Hey guys, I just saw two kids opening their Christmas presents, I would be the same. I send you best Christmas wishes from Buenos Aires Argentina 😂😂

At 18:00 the air pump. I bought one of those at a garage sale a while back and didn't know what it was exactly. Thank you
That V12 is what I want to see be fixed.
That '39 reminds me of' Beautiful'!
There was something about Beautiful that attracted me. She was perfect the way she was.
We said the same thing!!
Thank you Matt and Mike for the adventure , seeing some amazing parts and learning about some old cars !
That Supercharger is way cool !
What haul! Glad you guys saved as much as necessary and reusable.
As a record collector who specializes in 78 rpm recordings, those dealer promo records are interesting!
I’ve got a nice stash of early 50s Mopar unused training materials from an old dealership. Manuals, filmstrips and 78rpm records.
Wow! What a gold mine! Congrats..!! Super rare stuff.
Cadillac had the under seat heaters also

Killer Haul ~The '39 Banner !⚡
Dude!!! Great video!!! The (paper stuff) estate sale in 96, had 72-77 Pontiac Ventura everything paper/advertisement!!!! The basement was full!!!✌️
Great pick..get that knowledge up messing with that stuff
A man's life, laid out in boxes on a warehouse floor. That'll be my old comics collection one day.
Cool stuff and cool stories love it
Heard heaters for early Fords was an option
Big $

Under seat heaters were to supply more warm air to rear seat passengers.

Love these unpacked videos, amazing hoard the dude had.
It's a wonderful life
I'm looking forward to detailed video on both cars (but the 39 especially).
great finds Mike and Matt
Very cool pic. Love ❤️ the 39
Very KOOL Happy new year guys
Now that the world knows where the Lincoln is you better protect it.
I had a 49 lincoln that had accessory under seat heaters as well
Cool vid guys ,thanks

The air pump is cool. Wouldn't it make your tire a bomb (fuel and air in the tire)?
How big is that storage area??!! It’s huge!!😳
For the old model T or A tools and parts. Or any old parts and tools get ahold Merlin over at Merlin's old school garage. He always seems to be looking.
Fun video !
Great stuff, great cars and great vid. What were the odds of finding those keys among all the debris!!! 😮
More Mike and his Hot Rod please
Happy Christmas
The Lincoln would be a gorgeous vehicle if fully restored.
Would the finished value be enough to make the project worthwhile?
The value to restore would far outweigh the value when finished sadly
Nice Video. Hope that you had a GREAT CHRISTMAS.
Happy New Years 2024 🌏

Neat warehouse! Any interesting stories from those walls?
Those are underseat heaters that were an option for Lincolns.
This is amazing, guys! I love your warehouse; how old is that building?
Has the Lincoln got dual overdrive, it was a 1 year only option, 3 speed overdrive Transmission, and Columbia 2 speed
Luv your picken trips
That air pump you showed would run on a spark plug and the engine would run on 11 cylinders because both the zephyr and the Lincoln would of had 12 cylinder engines
It also works on V8’s as we described. It’s a ford accessory not a Lincoln.
Hi Guys, the book with the photographs of cars and lorries that you kept for your library do you have any like that for sale if so how much would they be Please. Or digital images of some of the real Art De co vehicles
😃
Hot Rod Lincoln 🤘😎
What happened with the Cadillac that was parked inside? Did u buy it?
Those Henry Ford stamps can be worth 68$ a piece.
FYI. Lincoln center sections are larger than Ford.
Wow....
That air cleaner is for a ford tractor!
Hey I have a question. Do you ever find Chevy Fleetline parts, or do you know if anybody has some for sale?
look's like the stamp's were made in 1968.
A series'
Is the ford air pump available for sale I’ve been searching for one to carry in my 38 woody?
Send us an email: irontrapgarage@gmail.com
can you let me know when you sell the 1940 ford models and the lincoln models
You can email or watch our sales page on Instagram or our website. Email is: irontrapgarage@gmail.com
Ya. Ah saw de gread in yr eye... ?
Any 337 Flathead V8 parts?
That '40 dash is from a Deluxe, not a Standard.
It doesn’t have a clock or the correct gauge panel. What makes it a deluxe?
Hey matt I'm looking for some 6.00 16 white wall tires and 4 beauty rings if you can help let me know I'll pay the price and shipping
Have not heard from the son whose father ran flatheads
Would you be interested in a thirty six gram ford or complete
The man who put all this together was an archivist, not a collector, in my opinion. No Model A stuff though.
Timelapse is “boring in disguise”.
Please don’t chop this coupe. Anybody can do that, but it’s only original once. There’s another guy who takes great ol cars and chops them, bad choice.
that Lincoln is an ugly machine a big ugly machine !
