I have changed injectors with that loosening method. Just run motor warm, keep it on idle and one-by-one loosen just a little pit each injector nut as long as you heard knocking. No driving or revving motor (high rpm) of course. Zero problem ever with that. Car was BMW but I don`t think it matter at all. I can recommend that easily :)
Turbo, injector, intercooler, hp pump, meth injection, head porting and so on. Basicly all diesel mods. The only question is finding parts that fit, or getting custom parts made, or using oem mercedes parts from other engines. Its a lot easier with om646 than om651 to tune and find parts though..

Mua himottaisi vaihtaa suuttimen pultti pinnapulttiin jolloin mielestäni kannen kierre ei vahingoittuisi mutteria kiristäessä. Lisäks se pultti kuuluu irroittaa kokonaan ja ajaa kunnes suutin lentää konepellistä läpi. Hope this help.
@@turbodieselbuilds Joo taitaa jäädä itseltä testaamatta. Mielestäni ulosvedin voisi olla parempi kuin vetovasara. Sitkeä piki voisi antaa periksi paremmin jatkuvan vedon alla kuin iskun vaikutuksesta.
Make sure you get new injector hold down bolts. They're stretch bolts. Also the threads are prone to stripping. Could be worth helicoiling before you put the valve cover back on
@@danielsvamp I think no camera will help this guy. Btw prohessional camera have matrix stabilizer, optical stabilizer and digital stabilizer...if it didnt help him, he should take a perforator and go to the construction site, where his shaking hands will be more useful 😅

Are they a direct replacement or do you need to reseat the head?
theyre using om613 cylinder head. You have to cut the head for bigger valve seats on om648.

If the bolts aren’t broken, theres no point in redesigning it.

Who knows what's the right torque spec for the head bolts?
For stock bolts 60Nm+90deg+90deg and the smaller 2x M8 bolts 20Nm. You can also reuse stock bolts if the length is under 104mm

i need a om648 valve cover, do you have a spare one?
Make sure you get new injector hold down bolts. They're stretch bolts. Also the threads are prone to stripping. Could be worth helicoiling before you put the valve cover back on
