Extraordinary unboxings 👍🏻✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
This dude must be independently wealthy. I love the look of the CN tanker.
Nah, he’s uses government programs to get free trains.
@@Ericstrains in that case I need train stamps also.
@@Ericstrains ahhhh lmao 🤣
The DM&IR ore train is just stunning
Love all the videos you do Eric, and love your layout I too collect American 3 rail over here in the UK, do have alot nearly 50 locos mainly MTH, (but not as much as you haha), when fastening the load on the depressed car cross the the chains top left to bottom right. All the best Dave in the UK
Thank you Eric! So cool!
Great Video as always! That's a 5th wheel which the trailer connects to the tractor! Nice car!
Thanks 👍
Bought the well cars also they’re really nice !! Atlas really knocks it out of the park with all their rolling stock !!
Yep!
love your picks !!!!! the depressed center looks great !!!!
Deember?! Wtf brother 😂😂 luv ya
22:08 i have a tank car, vroom vroom, i have a horsie, neigh neigh
Great video idea. Love it thanks. I have you locomotive number 60 👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome!
Love this unboxing
Some really nice stuff, im a big fan of that depressed center flatcar
Awesome cars Eric! My favorite one is the depressed car, new seen one like it before. Definitely doesn't make me feel "depressed" 🤣. Great video Eric!
Love the Simpsons reference!
I love your videos. I still am hoping you will someday do tutorial videos on opening locomotives (out of warranty, of course) to teach us how to service/diagnose problems. Again, you rock!
yes, i will
I love the cabooses, the CN tank car, ore cars, & depressed center flat car! I love the camel back too!
Thanks for sharing Eric. Love the price point of the ore cars which would look great behind the various EJ&E engines that I have, which is a sister railroad of the DM&IR. " Big ups 👍 from Chicago "Train Dawg!"
Yesss! Unboxings!!
Awesome video Eric! I like the CNJ caboose!
I bought that thing a few weeks ago!
I have an Railking Caboose similar to the CNJ Caboose, except mine is C&NW.
I love the blue and white steam loco
That's a lot of amazing 3-rail O-scale stuff.
I remember the first time I held an Atlas Master’s car, I thought WOW and had a big smile on my face. 🚂 Fun video Eric! 👊
yep!
That red CNJ caboose is so awesome! Definitely my favorite piece of rolling stock from this video! I've seen the blue NJ Transit CNJ Heritage locomotive in person twice. Also, Atlas makes some killer stuff, while my bias of living in New Jersey not too far from where Atlas is headquartered doesn't help, I do believe that they are one of the best model train manufacturers. I have a brand new never run Atlas O NJ Transit ALP-44 #4402 as well as the matching extremely rare 3 pack of Comet II coaches and I've seen all three cars from the pack in person (granted renumbered because they got renumbered in the late 90's/early 2000's but I only have pictures of two of the three) and I even got to ride on a train that had one of the coaches from the pack. Also, I have on order the HO Master Gold Atlas 100 Anniversary ALP-45DP 4503 and I saw the real life locomotive on Christmas Eve 2023 which was super special (that wasn't at my local station though unfortunately; It's passed by several times in the evening but I was always too busy to be able to get out and see it).
Sweet 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Love the wagon top - I miss Weaver!
You got some super awesome rolling stock!
Great stuff!
Nice run of cars. JH
Pretty cool Eric 😊😊
Sweet rolling stock Eric!
Atlas Pines Trailers are cool and would fit in that well car with the provided Fifth Wheel landing gear…I have several…nice
That’s a heck of a lot of rolling stock you unboxed. I liked seeing them pulled by you CSX First Responders loco.
The only thing about that shipping popcorn is it's very messy but the benefit is I believe if you put it in water it just melts down
I'm a big fan of Atlas's stuff, especially Trainman. It's neat seeing O scale versions of the N scale items I have.
I noticed that when yo were opening the wagon top boxcar, there was mention of a historical fact that you overlooked when reading the description of the wagon top boxcar. Do a video to explain it to keep your fans fully informed😀😀
That’s called a truck - for the Atlas well car. You see them with folks pulling campers and are found in the bed
Those ore cars are sweet! Price is just right to make a nice long train.
You got that right!
Love your video's Eric, keep them up❤
Thanks! Will do!
Fifth wheel for the trailers
With the Menards stuff. Just think of it as equipment that's been worn and patched up.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My Opinion, Atlas #1 in rolling stock. Atlas and MTH are hands down more bang for the buck over Lionel.
Hey Eric curious on how you maintain all the rolling stock and locomotives in your fleet. Do you have a rotating schedule when you work on them or just as needed? Would love to see a video about your maintenance program :) Great content as always! That Depressed flat car from Atlas is super cool!
Just as needed
I would Love to See you get a hold of some Australian O scale loco's like the V-Line N- Class or the Xtrapolis maybe the Victorian Rail C- Class also that would make my day/week
Does someone make those in O scale?
What’s the difference between three and two rail O gauge?
Just wondered what the difference was between 3-rail and 2-rail cars. All I can think of is whether the wheels are insulated.
yes, different wheel sets and the couplers are also different.
Hey!!!Seaboard home town railroad.I have the mth verson.
As much as I like your train things the prettiest ...er...presentation on your videos is still your wife.
Thanks lol
Do you have any Willam’s. I have a older Alaska gp38 with true blast sound. That engine alone can pull a ton of cars by itself
3:29 "Deember 2023..." lol oops!
Why oops?
@@Ericstrains Your misspelling on the card on the transition. No big deal - just happened to catch it.
The trailer thing is called a fifth wheel 8:37
Thanks
hey eric can you please run your heritage units especially Illinois terminal please i love your vids im your biggest fan i have watched all of your vids
yes!
Hi Eric I just had a quick question do you use Lionel’s smoke fluid or some other brand fluid for steam
I use JT’s mega steam
@@Ericstrains ok thank you sir I really enjoy your videos keep up the amazing work
Are Menard’s scale or semi scale? 🤷🏻♂️
usually semi, but some of their stuff is pretty close to scale.
Next open house?
This fall, probably in late November.
Can you please do some conrail stuff
Sure
Are the Mernards tank cars scale or semi-scale? I want to purchase a Sancair oil car
With tank cars it's hard to say definitively, since the real thing came in all different sizes. The Menards cars are clones of the MTH RailKing 'modern tank car', but sit higher on their trucks. Are they deliberately designed to be an accurate scale model of a _specific_ make of real-life tanker? I'd say no. Can you find a real-life tank car with the same general dimensions? I'd bet money on it.
Watch a video of a modern mixed freight and I can guarantee you'll see tankers of wildly varying sizes hitched to one another. Personally, I have no problem running cars like this mixed with Premier/Master line tank cars thanks to this.I only wish more of them came in realistic roadnames like the UTLX versions. Whizzing by at a scale 40-50mph (16-20 inches per second on your layout) you'd never know who made them.
Thank, very helpful!
Man I wish I knew how much you paying for your trains because Lionel is a expensive hobby
The prices of the trains are no secret.
