    Pretty good video with one MAJOR exception. You completely skipped showing how you remove the 6 tabs on the cowl cover to access the wiper assembly. Even with a plastic pry tool and and pliers, that was the most difficult and time consuming part of the whole process.

    Nice timing. My Wife's JKU just started making the same noise. Thanks for the video!

    I did exactly every step. The windshield wiper barely wiped half way, then after that it doesn’t wanna work anymore. I hate how I follow steps the exact way but I end up getting the shitty results

    Was it the motor that needed replacement? I’m not sure why you replaced everything the arms and motor.

      It all comes together as one unit. The arms were probably still good.

    What year Jeep jk do you have and what’s the part number of the part

    They are only sending me the motor. Is it easy to take the arm from the old motor to the new motor?

      I just replaced the entire assembly. Most reviews I read said to replace the entire unit and not just the motor. Was $123 from Summit Racing.

    video is great except you left out HOW to get those stupid cowl clips up so the cowl comes off =(*

    • @greybirdgarage6268
      @greybirdgarage6268  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a plastic rivet removal tool to get underneath the plastic rivets and pry them up. Just be careful because the plastic is usually pretty brittle.

      @@greybirdgarage6268 I was able to get them up but the cowl still won't come off. Looks like there are two more attached underneath 😩 maybe I just don't have them up enough?

      @@jennarussell6380 keep trying you’ll get it. If you’re trying to take the plastic tray off the inside as well, there’s 4 plastic rivets and 2 points where it goes into the firewall as well. Good luck! Let me know how it turns out.

      @@greybirdgarage6268 I saw that too lol I must not be pulling the rivets up far enough because they didn't want to let go. I finally gave up, gave my Jeep the finger and put her back together. It's raining today, and thankfully I have no where to go so I'll try again tomorrow 🤣

    What a waste of time. The two most important parts were skipped. Actually removal of the wiper motor assembly and the install of the wiper motor assembly.
