Start Making Your Own Watch Straps. Affordable Tools for Beginners: Leather Crafting Essentials

  • The tools you need to get started producing small leather goods. In this video, I try to give you an idea of what you'll need if you'd like to make your own leather watch straps, among other things. I'll be listing the cheaper end but still perfectly OK tools below.
    Obviously, if you can support a local tool maker, then do so. However, if you're just trying out the hobby, then the tools listed below will get you started.

      I would also add that if you give it a go, which you should :) it's a lot harder than it looks but don't let that put you off. Just don't get discouraged if the first 20 or 30 end up in the bin; mine did lol

    Very useful information. Thank you. Could you let me know what glue you use? I noticed that you use what seems to be a water based contact adhesive.
