On the Ender 3/CR-10 version, they have instructions to add home offsets, which would help with those binder clip collisions. Surprised that isn't part of the install instructions for the Ender 5.

I see you used the original Ender 5 fan and housing. That's great because now I can re-install my EZ-ABL. Also you used the same wiring harness so I don't have to go into the main board? (ugh!) I'm using TH3D's Marlin so I can enter those commands in my Gcode Start Script instead of connecting a laptop (which I don;'t have) to my printer (which will be hard because of my Micro to SD converter box. This looks great. Bontech and others require a whole new wiring harness. My Spool mount is on the top rear so I don't need too long of a Capricorn tube? Couple of inches maybe? Thanks for the great video. 👍👍👍

Look for the PEI flex-plates. I got the textured one side / plain the other side type. Haven’t got around to installing it on the Ender 5 Plus yet.
Accumulating other upgrades that I need to get around to: BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo board and TFT35-E3. Working on an adapter to attach the TFT35-E3 in place of the original screen - same idea as the one for the non-E3 TFT35. I prefer that layout for SD-Card etc.

I installed the same with hot end on my End 5 Plus also.. But now have a issue.. I tried there g code link download on the steps setting, and now it wont print correct, I get window I had never seen before. Using Prusa slicer it will print the out side line or two then stops, homes at the back and screen pops up says do you want to change the filament yes or stop the print no, if yes then shows image like hand with needle cleaning the tip. On cura / creality splicers, it will move all the way to its front right travel to the front left then back to the stop at its left says finished, no filament extruded at all... Filament is brand new roll.. I even went back and followed what you did and another vid on how to set the step using a measurement to fine tune, ( is why mine is set to 141 and not 130) and it will feed out on refuel very nice looking.
This is what Im looking at, is there something off or missing..
    Printer is now online.

@@TripodsGarage I think i might have figured it out, i need to estep check it, since it is flexing a lot, but first few layers looked great, but then it requires about 145% flow rate to keep it looking good. otherwise it will be good, then turn into a spit spit spit, then look good back & forth as it printed.
Also i have the stock spool holder & i think the new roll tension, was stretching the filament to the micro swiss direct drive trying to pull it. So i would unravel some let it run & then unravel some more to reduce the drag it was causing with Ninjaflex 85a.
245 nozzle, any lower & i can hear it skipping at the drive every few seconds. the nozzle that came with the Micro Swiss kit.
      45 bed
      .2 layer
      20 speed, initial 15
I tried retract to 2 to reduce the the ooze on movement to next area, because after it would start, it was as if it lost the molten part during the move, so leaves empty area a bit.

@@Weirdracin I am printing esun 95a tpu with it and getting good results. My esteps after calibration ended up being 284 in marlin. I print at 235° and I also dry my tpu in a dehumidifier and feed it straight from that to the printer. Tpu is hydroscopic and have found that even some brand new rolls need drying and that helps it a lot to stop spitting.
