Ive had a mustang GT, i get it.. but honestly If your bashing you probably havent driven the v6 camaro. It sounds LEGIT, pulls like a bat outta hell. Very impressed.

The interior looks nicer than the last generation by a long shot....but that being said....I still feel like they could use a little work to give it more of a premium feel. I know that the people looking at pony cars aren't necessarily prioritizing interior quality or they would have gone with a different segment, but still, I feel like customers now days demand something more, especially if you're dropping almost 40k on a car. I would have liked to see less plastic and more attention to detail throughout the cabin. Otherwise though I think it's a solid car. Certainly performs well, and those seats look nice too which is a big deal for me. That paint color is awesome too. Really compliments the lines of the body. Hope you're having fun with it.

Also runs the Borla cat back exhaust set ups with down pipes and an intake. Makes 370HP. At idle with the exhaust set up at idle it sounds very much like a V8. It sings

Hi. v6 with sunroof in stick is very rare. How did you negotiate with the dealer? My dealer wants $500 down, 12 weeks to build and says he will give me 9% and keep the Chevy $1000 rebate. I told him no, I normally get 10% discount without the rebate so I want my $1000 rebate also.

It's a very nice car, but I wouldn't call it a "muscle" car. Like so many GM models over the years they build and design certain trim levels to look fast, but they're not. Especially back in the 90's with their SS, Z24, Z28 models. The sound of the exhaust sounded no different than the base model trim level, and the power of the engines were all just the same. It's just GM had great designers make it appear that it was loud and powerful.

I'm looking to possibly buy a Camaro or a Mustang GT in December. Looking at just the pricing point the 2.0 turbo camaro looks like the way to go unless you're going all in with the SS. V6 pricing is way too high and you might as well buy a 1 SS.
The 2.0 with any upgraded rim package is the way to go. With the V6 most are equipped with the RS package and most will opt for the exhaust. Throw in an auto tranny and your easily at the price of a 1 SS. Here in FL the most popular package I was told was the 2.0 convertible with the auto tranny which is basically also the same price as a 1 SS.
Bravobraza It's probably a $1500 option on the build site. When you get up off your fat cheetoz eating ass and actually go price one in person you begin to see how pricey they are. I was told by 6 different dealerships that the V6 is hard to sell. Wonder why?
I have an SS with an A8. Back in the day manuals were usually faster. But today the autos are faster. Just like how back in the day V6's were slow. Things change.

And yeah, no doubt the 3.6L Camaros are fast. I had a 2013 (LFX engine). It was a runner man. I mean, it had 323hp. A V6. I remember when the 5th gen first came out and heard the 6-packs had over 300hp. That was a game changer there. I almost want to say I had more fun with my 3.6 because it was zippy and you could get into it. The SS I have you can't get into the thing because your instantly freaking going 100mph and you'll be fucked if a cop sees you. It's hard to get into it without committing a felony lol

That doesn't make any sense. From a roll they're = The V6 auto is faster to 60 because it shifts quicker and does a better job of managing the power. From a roll it should be equal as the power is the same.
TonyisGaming the gear ratios play a huge roll. Not to mention the manual transmission is lighter. The manual takes longer to shift which maintains the higher rpm for maximum torque

Yeah at my local dealership a loaded v6 was 41... Then they had a pretty much fully loaded v8 for 45. Don't see who would get a v6 for that much maybe insurance or they just like the looks

I can't decide between a mustang or camaro. Manuals suck in daily driving in traffic but they are fun.
