Okay, I just spent 3 hours making this. All my vegies wouldn't fit into one pan, then all my pasta sheets got stuck together and I had to make three separate batches of white sauce because I kept running out. 4 hours and I finally get to taste my lasagna and OMG! DELICIOUS! Best meal I've had in a very long time! I'm so full.. Thank you for sharing this recipe, it is amazing! PS: I added half of a cauliflower in mine and it was great.
Tried for the first time and u know what - it was yummy cheesy delicious 🤤 Glad i read thru some reviews and avoided common mistakes😀 I followed exact same recipe and it had nice flavours with mild spice. Some tips n tricks - You need to fill up a whole tray so be generous with ingredients for all layers. - 2 cups of tomatoes needed for 3 layers - I used 3 tablespoons APF (maida) and 3 cups of milk to prepare white sauce and it was just enough (ofcourse with other ingredients in the recipe) - Veggies i used- carrots, beans, spinach, bell peppers, cauliflower, onions - chop super small and saute nicely with little or no water. If u chop veggies big, lasanga will be watery. I boiled whole wheat pasta sheet for 10 mins and separated each layer so doesnt stick to each other until you start layering up. Baked in the oven as per recipe 350F. 20 mins closed and 35 mins open for nice brown top cheese layer 😋😋 (i could not use broil option to brown the cheese as i used glass baking tray) Its quite a elaborate recipe. First time making this so Took 2.5 hrs to prepare n layer up. Another 55 mins in the oven, so plan timing accordingly. Hope this was helpful! Enjoy !🤤🤤🤤
I made this today, took me around 3.5 hours. The quantity of my white sauce wasn’t as much as shown in the video though I did use the same amount the recipe mentioned. The vegetables were also not enough to layer so I used extra. I used courgette, peppers, broccoli spinach and onions. Turned out really tasty in the end! Adjust the ingredients if ur baking tray is bigger or smaller! :) thanks
Watched this first time 4 years back. Came out too good. Everybody loved my lasagna. Since then I come here every time before making lasagna. Thank you so much.
This lasagna was excellent, only thing I changed is with the cream sauce theirs no need to even add anymore mozzarella or cheddar,it's cheesy enough. And is great because mozzarella is so expensive. Vegetables I used are green/yellow squash/onions/peas/brocolli/red/yellow peppers. I've made a vegetable lasagna in the past and it was tasteless this is delicious
Took around 2 hours to make... I followed every step except red sauce I made according to me... Just finished eating was super delicious. Was not runny and vegetables were crunchy. I just added green chilli was very delicious and well executed.. thnx for sharing vegetarian recipe
I had followed this recipe in the past and people just loved it. They tried lasagne in so many places but they couldn't find this awesome taste. It is time consuming process definitely. But once it is prepared, it is worth every minute spent on this and even more. I just got a recipe for life. ❤️
I tried this recipe and everyone loved it . Im gonna make this again today for some guests ...the best and easiest recipe that I have tried so far for lasagna !
Wow it was so delicious. My son keep asking for a long time that if I can make lasagna at home. So I tried to make lasagna first time at home and its turned out so delicious. Thank u for this recipe. I will try again for sure.
hi priyanka! i hv tried this recipe a few times with home made lasagne sheets (with half maida n half wheat flour). They turned out superb ! My family was all praises for me! thanks!
Hi Priyanka😊😊You are my go to person if I want to prepare lasagna. Thanks so much for this recipe. Yes, it’s an elaborate process but every bite is worth it😊My family loves this preparation.
Everytime im about to make lasagne I watch this my whole fam loves it! I’ve made this in quarantine about 4 times now 😋 and even before that! I used to cook this it’s delicious with a little Indian touch and when my white frjends come over they adore it!
Awesome recipe. I regularly cook Pasta but was avoiding Lasagna due to baking, but your recipe made it so easy. Cooked delicious Lasagna last night. Thanks.
Thank you so very much, this recipe is just perfect for us vegetarians... And the perfect amount of ingredients helps a lot mam. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the recipe indeed it tasty delicious n ur instructions are just neat and perfect from the start to end I tried a couple of times always same taste 😋
Ingredients: *Red sauce* Canned tomatoes Olive oil Garlic Chill flakes Seasoning Black pepper Salt Sugar *white sauce* Cheese Flour Salt Nutmeg Oil Milk *Vegetables* Broccoli Yellow squash (optional) Onion Mushroom Spinach Carrot Bell pepper Lasagna sheets Cheese Assamble: Red sauce Pasta Red sauce Veggies White sauce Cheese Pasta Red sauce Veggies White sauce Pasta Red sauce Veggies White sauce Cheese Bread crumbs (optional) *cover with foil and bake at 180°C for 20-35 minutes then 15 minutes uncovered
When I make Lasagne I start with a layer of pasta which I then seal the joints with the cheese sauce. I then add the Tomato and veg mix (I use a lot more veg so probably have a 1 inch layer). I then repeat a 2 or 3 times ending with the Tomato and veg mix. I then pour on the remaining cheese sauce (A good inch) then like you cover with grated mature cheese.I find this stops the layers mixing together. Good vid though
Hey thanks for sharing this yummy recipe. It took me 3.5 hrs to make it . But it was truly worth it. I added a little bit of tomato ketchup to the red sauce it tasted yum. Keep it up and post more 🤗
+Michelle Doll thanks a lot. .well I've already tried it twice now on last few months. it came out so well. and I'm a vegetarian so I don't use eggs in it still it cooks alright. I've only made lasagna sheets so far but haven't tried pasta shapes at home .now that you have guided me ill definitely try it soon!
I heard about but haven't tried this yet: blend up some cooked vegetables, about 1/2 Cup per egg (to substitute) and use as the moist part of recipe. Ex: spinach, carrots, or peeled & de-seeded tomato. Steam your choice of veggie, and make a nice puree (it should look like baby food). Mix it with the flour as if it were an egg. Tasty, pretty, and nutritious! My daughter tells me that classic gnocchi can be made using mashed potato & flour as I describe above. Have fun playing with your food! ;-)
PS: I have my own chickens at home; those are the only eggs I will eat anymore. I know my ladies are spoiled rotten pets, and have a very nice life, unlike those poor things at factory farms. I tell you, they eat at least 4 different treats a day, in addition to organic "kibble" and all the bugs they can find. I keep them until they die of old age or a predator gets them (depressingly common, despite our efforts to outsmart them). As they age, the eggs come less often, but get HUGE! I mean, won't-fit-in-the-carton huge! I can usually count on about 5 eggs a week from 2 year olds and 4 a week from 6 year olds, so its not bad at all. Off topic, I know, but thought I'd add that in case you might be thinking about getting a couple hens. They are quiet, less trouble than a couple cats, and cute as can be.
+Michelle Doll they're so cute I know. My brother had adopted a couple of male chick's for fun but 1 was stolen away by a stray cat and the other one got very depressed. We had to give him a lot of physical touch to make him eat again. He used to follow my mum all along the house all day long. Very very cute!
Earlier I used few British nonstick brands but currently I have almost switched my cooking to either steel/iron. In India Vinod and pnb are good for steel pans.
