Interesting video! I've said for a while that Columbus may not have the best of everything (or anything, depending on who you ask) but we have something for pretty much everyone.
Great video. I’m in Dublin and you nailed some things for sure. I grew up in Toledo (and maumee), lived in Findlay, Ottawa, and I’ve been in Cbus 12 years. Cbus is getting expensive though. And with all the new hospitals, schools, corporations (Facebook, intel, google, etc) it will only get worse. I personally hate how car centric Columbus is, and so much gentrification.
youtube.com/@autismworldtravel thanks so much for your insight! I'm curious, which city did you enjoy living in the most Toledo, Findlay, Ottawa or Columbus?
@@LIVECOLUMBUS definitely prefer Columbus. I’d never live in Findlay again, it was nice. Safe. Just not for me. Ottawa was too small and racist for me. Toledo’s job market is terrible unless you’re in certain fields, like medical and education. Columbus is a great city, I love it here.
You should go to Chapman's instead of any Cameron Mitchell place. CM stuff is run of the mill and even mentioning a Michelin star in regards to anything CM is insane. The owner and head chef of Chapman's has actually earned a Michelin Star in Rose's Luxury in DC.
Nice job, but most of this is all stuff I've heard before numerous times. What else can be said? My cousin is so ashamed of Columbus, he says he's from one of the suburbs.
I love Columbus! I hate how it’s getting SO EXPENSIVE and extremely car centric. Public transportation sucks, and housing prices have increased significantly in the 12 years I’ve lived here. This vid is pretty accurate tho
TH-cam.com/@zitrandy thanks for the comment. Do you have any ideas of some new things I can cover about Columbus to help people out that you don't hear people talking about? Recently filmed a video interviewing people about their real thoughts on the city. Any feedback helps!
Columbus has the most impatient drivers. They have been voted third most impatient drivers in America. And an impatient driver is a dangerous driver. “Tail Gate city”. Everywhere you drive you will be tail gated. Get ready to disregard the speed limit or you will be passed in the most dangerous situations. Generally, speed over curtsy. At red light, everyone packs the cars tightly together. When the light turns green, no one gives a two second pause before acceleration and the line of cars stays as close as possible. Everyone is pushing or being pushed. In an accident, you cant tell the Judge - “Everybody else does it.”
Yeah people that have lived here their entire lives get frustrated when they see out of state drivers, particularly those from outside the Midwest and Canada because they are most likely a transplant. There's no real public transportation here so everyone in a city of 1 Million has to drive, , the infrastructure couldn't keep up, and the city was ranked the most polluted major city in the US for the second year in a row now. And it'll just get worse because of the intel plant being built.
New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco got big Chinese American populations. For Midwest Chicago has a big Chinese community since they have Chinatown there
@@jesusislordtw4690 you’re welcome. There’s always Google when you need to look to for Asian supermarkets anywhere around the US including in Ohio. I’m Asian American also
@jesusislordtw4690 Not sure what you're looking for specifically, but I know of at least two relatively large Asian supermarkets in Columbus and a handful of smaller stores although I haven't yet looked for anything specifically Chinese.
Hey youtube.com/@tracisanders3445 first off thank you so much for watching the video. @@Razgriz09 I think that’s a great way of putting it!
Theu build the retention ponds to compensate water runoff. The concrete and roadways displace natural absorption.

I feel that about new neighborhoods. It’s all about profit!
Keller Willams? You must work with Joe Jackson. He was my little league baseball coach. DBSL Dodgers back in like 96' 97' He is such a nice guy.
I sure do although he's out of a different office. Joe is a wonderful human being!
@LIVECOLUMBUS Yes he is. Thanks for bringing such an amazing light to such a great city. You hit this one out the park.
pro: idk anymore, i’m sure there used to be some
cons: astronomical housing costs, abysmal pay, crime
Major pro would be employment options.
Major con is the sanctuary city status.

I got tail gated with my girlfriend in the car threw our hands up like dude get out my bumper next thing we know back of our car got shot up
I can definitely attest to that sentiment, you're not wrong lol.

Which big city to live if you are Chinese? Where is easy access to Asian supermarkets. Tks
