Hyde Park isn’t a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. I can say it’s better than Cameron Mitchell’s restaurants :)
The development is outstanding and compared to other cities the traffic is a breeze. The taxes in Dublin are higher than most suburbs but it is a fantastic part of Columbus.

Im from Dublin when it was all fields. Like, there was a Big Bear and the schools. I went to Olde Sawmill.
I currently live in Indianapolis. This makes me want to visit. Looks very different. I'm sure still expensive. Lol

Too expensive. Some of the highest taxes in the entire state of Ohio. By far the highest taxes of any place I've lived including Florida. Does not affect you unless you buy but make sure you look into taxes if you plan to buy a house. Everyone you are interviewing are renters so they are not aware of taxes probably. Traffic did not even enter my mind . . . minimal/non issue.
Yes Ohio ranks 8th nationally for highest property taxes. I recently did a TH-cam short video warning prospective buyers to calculate their tax obligations when searching for a home in our suburbs. As a resident myself in Dublin traffic I’ve definitely noticed more congestion in Old Dublin and Riverside Drive heading into Bridge Park. Maybe it’s just me but it didn’t always feel that way?

I would think Worthington and New Albany is more expensive to live. I don't know about the taxes in Powel and Lewis center but I have family and friends that live there and I love those 2 areas
Ohio governments love to give extremely generous tax abatements to corporations like Amazon, Facebook, Apple for data centers that generate few jobs but use all kinds of energy. I wish they’d pay their fair share of taxes!
I'm lifelong in Columbus. I miss the old Columbus and all the suburbs like Dublin Grove City, etc...before the 90s. It was quiet with family owned businesses and restaurants. All the new places are souless flash in the pans. My goal is to move far away. Being a foodie and fighting traffic is the last thing I want to spend my life doing. Restaurant food is generally horrible for you anyway and way overpriced.

We're slowly killing all the unique family owned businesses that gave the city and surrounding suburbs all their charm. We are erasing history in favor of corporate interests. It's happening everywhere in America. I enjoy talking to long term residents such as yourself, it's vitally important to remember our past.
I would pick Powel or Lewis Center as my favorite places to live in the Columbus, Ohio area

Cap City SUCKS! I don't care who owns it I went there TWICE And both time I was disappointed with their entrees I got meatloaf and it was as if you took three Wendy's patties and dumped sauce on top of them, the second time was a chicken pot pie dish and it was absolutely terrible The best thing that they have there is their desserts The peanut butter pie is scrumptious

Raised my family in Dublin Ohio. They are 25 & 23 and have graduated from Ohio State. My husband and their dad still live here. About 10 mins from Bridgepark.
