You should go to Chapman's instead of any Cameron Mitchell place. CM stuff is run of the mill and even mentioning a Michelin star in regards to anything CM is insane. The owner and head chef of Chapman's has actually earned a Michelin Star in Rose's Luxury in DC.

Interesting video! I've said for a while that Columbus may not have the best of everything (or anything, depending on who you ask) but we have something for pretty much everyone.

I'm lifelong in Columbus. I miss the old Columbus and all the suburbs like Dublin Grove City, etc...before the 90s. It was quiet with family owned businesses and restaurants. All the new places are souless flash in the pans. My goal is to move far away. Being a foodie and fighting traffic is the last thing I want to spend my life doing. Restaurant food is generally horrible for you anyway and way overpriced.

Avoid Hilliard if you value space. They are building a high class shopping areas, but there's really only two super markets, police force is massively under staffed, and the cemetery road plan has been approved to level the homes and build 4 story apartment complexes. The roads are parking lots at 5pm.. and if you are really lucky they will fill huge pieces of properties to build huge data centers that employ 5 people if you are lucky.. Go to dublin, it's nearly the same price, but they have much better zoning laws..

Live here. Crawford Hoying group is trying to boost revenue by destroying itself. Probably leaving. If you value any sleep - f*ing leave. It’s never peaceful anymore. Sometimes there’s live music 3 nights a week and it’s very very loud. I work from home and sometimes you want it to feel like a small village. But they will get a round of car break-ins then buss thousands more in for fore fest - they have one goal and it’s to pack people in and it’s becoming artificial.

Columbus has the most impatient drivers. They have been voted third most impatient drivers in America. And an impatient driver is a dangerous driver. “Tail Gate city”. Everywhere you drive you will be tail gated. Get ready to disregard the speed limit or you will be passed in the most dangerous situations. Generally, speed over curtsy. At red light, everyone packs the cars tightly together. When the light turns green, no one gives a two second pause before acceleration and the line of cars stays as close as possible. Everyone is pushing or being pushed. In an accident, you cant tell the Judge - “Everybody else does it.”

I would pick Powel or Lewis Center as my favorite places to live in the Columbus, Ohio area

Moved to Ohio about 23 years ago, best move I ever made.

The development is outstanding and compared to other cities the traffic is a breeze. The taxes in Dublin are higher than most suburbs but it is a fantastic part of Columbus.

Which big city to live if you are Chinese? Where is easy access to Asian supermarkets. Tks

Im from Dublin when it was all fields. Like, there was a Big Bear and the schools. I went to Olde Sawmill. I currently live in Indianapolis. This makes me want to visit. Looks very different. I'm sure still expensive. Lol I've been back for the Dublin Irish Fest. TfS.

I don't care who owns it I went there TWICE And both time I was disappointed with their entrees I got meatloaf and it was as if you took three Wendy's patties and dumped sauce on top of them, the second time was a chicken pot pie dish and it was absolutely terrible The best thing that they have there is their desserts The peanut butter pie is scrumptious

Too expensive. Some of the highest taxes in the entire state of Ohio. By far the highest taxes of any place I've lived including Florida. Does not affect you unless you buy but make sure you look into taxes if you plan to buy a house. Everyone you are interviewing are renters so they are not aware of taxes probably. Traffic did not even enter my mind . . . minimal/non issue.

My question to the people that don’t like the Dublin traffic, where else have you lived?

Yup, I live in Gahanna, and bought my home 8 yrs ago for $450K. My real estate taxes have gone from around $10K to over $14K in those 8 yrs. #unsustainable

Great video. I’m in Dublin and you nailed some things for sure. I grew up in Toledo (and maumee), lived in Findlay, Ottawa, and I’ve been in Cbus 12 years. Cbus is getting expensive though. And with all the new hospitals, schools, corporations (Facebook, intel, google, etc) it will only get worse. I personally hate how car centric Columbus is, and so much gentrification.
