I'm a Singer" This is not "The Voice", it's a competition of already known and talented singers.Adding that the organizers keep secret the names of the participants - quite famous singers.
Dimash was the youngest of them. Its organizers invited him themselves.Dimash sang "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" in the competition he was supposed to sing first. Dimash tiene actualmente 27 años y ha tomado clases de canto desde los 5 y práctica alrededor de 3 horas diariamente. Es multinstrumentista y ha cantado en al menos 13 idiomas. Domina el Inglés y el Ruso además de su lengua materna, y tiene conocimientos de Chino. Su rango vocal de 7 octavas sigue extendiéndose por increíble que parezca. Bonjour, merci d'avoir réagi au plus grand chanteur du monde. Dimash est exceptionnel sur beaucoup de plans. Il chante divinement bien dans divers genres de musique, joue de 7 instruments. Ici il chante en français mais il chante aussi en 12 langues étrangères. Il est très attaché aux valeurs traditionnelles de son pays et à sa famille (d'ailleurs nous les "dears" faisons partie de sa famille). Je le suis depuis 3 ans et il ne se passe pas une journée sans que je l'écoute chanter. Très belle réaction ! Bienvenue dans le monde de Dimash, salutations de France.

You just witnessed the greatest vocalist of all time. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 13 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend “Sinful Passion “ 2018, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017 and then "Stranger" 2021 and "Ikanaide" 2021. Dimash was the first singer on the first episode of the show. He WOWED everyone with this performance. He became an overnight sensation and blew up in China and on TH-cam! I discovered him just a week later when he covered Vitas' song Opera 2. 😂 All of those contestants are professional singers/performers. I Am Singer is a show for only established artists and Dimash was invited as a Wild Card, because he was just starting his career in Kazakhstan. He was the first foreigner invited to participate and the youngest at the time. ❤ And they made the mistake of having him go first! 😂🤣

I heard that he came in SECOND place. Dimash is not from China. The audience were Chinese, the country was China and, would you believe it, the winner who was judged to be better than him just happened to be Chinese.
@@duncanmckinnon But he emerged from this contest as the REAL winner as hardly anyone can remember the winners name, the contest rules did not allow a foreigner to win anyway. But DIMASH became famous and more loved in China than any one else in that contest. He got what he wanted.

He's never forgotten about that and his love for his Dears shows in everything he does and every insta post he makes. It's what puts him above the rest, that unlike most artists who rise to fame and then become arrogant and unwilling to interact with fans he still makes time to sign autographs, take pictures, launch himself into the crowd at huge concerts. He's truly one of a kind even without that amazing voice.

Simplemente , el mejor vocalista de todos los tiempos... Nadie ha dominado a este nivel tantos registros en una sola persona. No sólo es que domine todos los registros y el rango vocal
extendidisimo que tiene es que quizas incluso sea de los mejores cantantes del mundo dentro de cada registro, Es un Barítono espectacular, un Tenor impresionante, y tiene una voz de Soprano
que ya quisieran muchas cantantes de ópera, por no hablar de los infinitos recursos que usa como los melismas, growls, silbidos... Es que enserio... No he visto nada igual jamas, podríamos estar
hablando de alguien que seguramente se hable de el dentro de 300 años como Beethoven, Mozart, da Vinci, etc... PD: es licenciado en música clásica y música moderna máster en composición

Hes been formally educated in music starting at age 5. He has multiple degrees in multiple genres. He sings 7 octaves in 13 languages and plays 8 instruments. An amazingly kind, humble and wonderful human being. If you see the terms "Dears" thats what he calls his fans. He says we are as dear as family and an extension of his soul. I saw his show at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn in 2019. If he wows you on TH-cam, he totally drains you in person, the greatest one-man show on earth. Three hours later you walk out unbelieving what just happened to you. A voice that comes along once in a generation. Frankly I have never heard anything like it.

Es el mejor cantante del mundo, no solo por su gran rango vocal que es de 6 octavas y 9 semitonos si no que también por su técnica vocal, su versatilidad y su gran sensibilidad que agrega a cada una de sus canciones, todo esto según especialistas y cauch del campo musical. esta versión de S.O.S. es del 2017, era un concurso Chino, The Singer, el fue como único invitado extranjero por lo cual quien tenia que ganar debía ser Chino y así fue como una cantante logro el primer lugar y Dimash quedo en 2 lugar pero con ello logro una gran fama en China y posteriormente en muchos otros paises, pues ha cantado en 13 idiomas a la fecha y desde el 2017 comenzó con sus propios conciertos uno de los últimos fue en N.Y. en diciembre del 2019, en el 2021 dio su primer concierto digital, fue invitado a cantar en el cambio de mando en Estados Unidos, ahora que ya esta pasando la pandemia en marzo continua con su gira Arnau. durante este tiempo ademas de sacar canciones nuevas a participado como jurado en otros concursos y ademas a cantado también en diferentes programas de TV. This song was one of the performances that Dimash did in the Chinese contest "I am a singer" in 2017. He was 22 years old and was the youngest contestant in that contest. He won second place and from there he was known in all the countries of the world. Today he is 27 years old and is preparing his tour starting in Dubai. In 2019 he was in the middle of the "Arnau" world tour when he had to suspend it due to the consequences of the pandemic.

This was Dimash's first viral video when he was invited to be the only non-Chinese competitor in the 2017 'I Am Singer,' a contest only of professional singers -- no amateurs. This was his first song in the competition. Fans went so crazy that he was immediately assigned bodyguards to protect him. He was overwhelmed by the reception of the Chinese audience and, I think because of that, has incentivized him to perform in China quite frequently and give emphasis to learning Mandarin, along with English. You have just scratched the surface of understanding Dimash's capabilities, however. Dimash is the son of professional singers and, thus, was learning to sing while in his mother's womb. Indeed, a reviewer from India made a very astute comment that he sounds like music is his first language, and I think that could very well be true. He then began singing and piano lessons at age 5, now plays 7 musical instruments, completed two bachelor degrees in classical music and in contemporary music, with a master's in music composition, and has been accepted into a Ph.D program in music. He has sung in 15 different languages. He is not just the world's greatest singer in my opinion; he is the greatest musical innovator -- continually mastering and mixing every style and technique you can imagine. DimashDimash [Dee-mahsh] Kudaibergen [Koo-die-bear-GHIN] is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is 27 years old, He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD.
He currently has a vocal range of over 7.7 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan.
He has performed songs in 13 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it.
At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers (This S.O.S. presentation was his first performance in this Show and he gained more than 600 million followers on that night). The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.
He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. He has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well.
His vocals range from a rich low baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has Hit a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato.
He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres.
He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turn this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music.
He's a multi-instrumentalist, competent on 8 instruments including piano, drums and the native Turk/Kazakhstan two-stringed instrument called a dombra.
He is most widely known through his live performances that has released several albums the first one going platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour.
It has been recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has designated his "Dears"

You will find that he is unlike anyone on this planet. His talent is truly out of this world. He calls his fans DEARS and has a very close relationship with them. I've been a DEAR for a long time but he always manages to blow my mind with his voice. You have to listen to him to understand how great and incomparable he is as a singer, but also as a person. He was already a major name in his home country before this performance, but became quite popular in China after his appearance in the show. He didn’t win….he came in 2nd to a popular singer from Hong Kong…I’m sure there were some nationalistic politics in play. However, since he was a wild card addition to the show and not very well known in China he most likely was not expected to do as well as he did. He’s only gotten better with time. There are also several other performances from this show that are worth checking out.
You are right that they didn't expect him to do so well. I heard on a video that the contestants sang that first week in reverse order of how they were expected to do. Since they expected him to be last, he had to sing first. In later weeks they had different ways to pick the order.
So amazing to watch somebody discover Dimash! He's the best vocalist, no matter you like or not his songs...

The Singer , it was a Chinese show for highly respected singers to compete, Dimash was the only non Chinese singer invited because the producer saw him perform for the Chinese and Kazakh presidents and was very impressed. He is from Kazakhstan and was the youngest ever competitor in 2017 at only 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show and the audience went wild for him. When the show was broadcast on tv he had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life as he had become a superstar overnight in China. He is now a world class artist, still just turned 27 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, (on hold until next year due to covid-19) he also performs in concerts with the famous Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He is about to start his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career.
