I'm 69 years old and I've never heard or seen anything like Dimash. He is really spectacular...the best singer in the world! I try to listen to his music every day since I stumbled across him about two months ago. By the way, he was the only foreigner...he's from Kazakhstan...among a group of China's best singers, so he was invited to sing first in front of a live audience on the first day of the 2017 season of the Chinese TV show, "The Singer". No pressure, right? By the time he finished SOS, he had won over the live audience, the competing singers, the judges, and the 600 million homes into which the show was carried. Pay attention to right before he sings his last verse...the live audience is totally silent. That's when Dimash smiled slightly because he knew he had the audience right where he wanted them. He was an unknown wildcard from Kazakhstan and the youngest competitor against famous and established Chinese singers. He sang SOS as the very first contestant in the 14 week long competition and quickly gained fame in China. The rest of the world is finally discovering him. He is not only the best singer in the world but he is humble, kind, sweet, adorable, loving, and smart. (He just completed his Masters degree in composition and received a mark of 100% on his thesis. He is now working toward his PHD.) Dimash can sing beautifully in any genre from opera to rap and in many different languages. I'm a huge Snow Tha Product fan and NF fan so when I discovered Dimash I was surprised because I don't listen to the genre of music that he sings, or so I thought. Thanks for trying something out of your usual genre! The lyrics for SOS are thoughtful and intense, but he didn't write them, it's a cover. Search for an SOS video with English subtitles and look for subs or captions on future Dimash reactions. (Some of his songs are in English, many aren't.) Another thing to know: you should occasionally pause and comment on the videos from the Singer contest to avoid copyright strikes by Hunan TV. They can be picky. But videos on Dimash's channel are safe. Dimash sings in different genres and tempos, so ask viewers for songs that come closest to your interests. He did a bit of rap and a duet with a rapper, but most of his songs are a combination of pop, opera, rock, traditional Kazakh music, and alien (like "Diva Dance") just for the fun of it! The pop is both upbeat dance songs and heartbreaking ballads. The opera is excellent, if you like opera, and the Kazakh music is closest to his heart. Enjoy the ride!

I'm 69 years old and I've never heard or seen anything like Dimash. He is really spectacular...the best singer in the world! I try to listen to his music every day since I stumbled across him about two months ago.
By the way, he was the only foreigner...he's from Kazakhstan...among a group of China's best singers, so he was invited to sing first in front of a live audience on the first day of the 2017 season of the Chinese TV show, "The Singer". No pressure, right? By the time he finished SOS, he had won over the live audience, the competing singers, the judges, and the 600 million homes into which the show was carried. Pay attention to right before he sings his last verse...the live audience is totally silent. That's when Dimash smiled slightly because he knew he had the audience right where he wanted them. Superb stage presence! Try Opera 2 next...that was Dimash's second offering during the contest. Enjoy!

Welcome to the world of Dimash!! He was 22 when he went on China's 'I am Singer' and he is 26 now. He was an unknown wildcard from Kazakhstan
and the youngest competitor against famous and established Chinese singers. He sang SOS as the very first contestant in the 14 week long competition and quickly gained fame in China. The rest of the world is finally discovering him. He is not only the best singer in the world but he is humble, kind, sweet, adorable, loving, and smart. (He just completed his Masters degree in composition and received a mark of 100% on his thesis. He is now working toward his PHD.) Dimash can sing beautifully in any genre from opera to rap and in many different languages. I know most people say he has a 6 octave range, but he keeps working so hard on his vocals that I think it is even higher now!! (One reactor has checked out his range and says it is now 7 octaves!!) I am one of his "Dears" (fans) and I so enjoy when someone discovers him for the first time. Minds are blown!! Please react to more of his songs, you won't be disappointed. Oh man, you can just dive right in with Dimash. Practically everything he does is just incredible so it doesn't even matter what you choose. 'Love of Tired Swans' is amazing. 'Love is like a Dream' is magical. Daybreak (at the Bastau concert) is Epic. 'The Crown' is practically a James Bond theme song. 'Across Endless Dimensions' is majestic. Jeeze... I can keep going... but gonna stop here. Just... pick one and go from there.

I'm a huge Snow Tha Product fan and NF fan so when I discovered Dimash I was surprised because I don't listen to the genre of music that he sings, or so I thought. Dimash sings all genre's of music and says that what he sings is Popera. You should react to Sinful Passion or Ogni Pietra. Even his cover of Hello by Lionel Richie. Dimash is known to have 6 octaves and can sing as high as a D8!! Enjoy your Dimash journey you are in for a wild ride 💯

Thanks for trying something out of your usual genre! The lyrics for SOS are thoughtful and intense, but he didn't write them, it's a cover. Search for an SOS video with English subtitles and look for subs or captions on future Dimash reactions. (Some of his songs are in English, many aren't.) Another thing to know: you should occasionally pause and comment on the videos from the Singer contest to avoid copyright strikes by Hunan TV. They can be picky. But videos on Dimash's channel are safe.
Dimash sings in different genres and tempos, so ask viewers for songs that come closest to your interests. He did a bit of rap and a duet with a rapper, but most of his songs are a combination of pop, opera, rock, traditional Kazakh music, and alien (like "Diva Dance") just for the fun of it! The pop is both upbeat dance songs and heartbreaking ballads. The opera is excellent, if you like opera, and the Kazakh music is closest to his heart. Enjoy the ride!
