You have just witnessed the most talented vocalist known to mankind in my opinion. Just go to his official TH-cam channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch from this point forward this was his first performance on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 he was 22 years old. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He is an exceptional talent! Your life will never be the same. He has a lot of pop songs in English as well that are more recent.

Great reaction. Dimash was 22 when he was on The Singer. A show for only professional singers.he was invited over as a wildcard.also he was the first to sing no one knew him or what he sounded like. The next day when he went to go outside they told him he needed bodyguards! Dimash had gotten over 600 million likes on China’s youtube overnight! And the rest is history.in case you are thinking he won the show I’ll tell you No he didn’t only because it was against their rules for a foreigner to win.they changed the rules for the next year and Jesse J won. But that is ok he won hearts all over the world.

I love your reaction! I’ve been listening to Dimash now for 7 months, I’ve listened to SOS AT LEAST 200 times and never get tired of it! You will be addicted to his beautiful voice, and the tones that only he can do! Welcome! He just now turned 26, I believe he was 24 here, I might be wrong. He didn’t win because he was the only contestant that wasn’t Chinese and they couldn’t give him first place! That would have been disgraceful!

The whole show was above the level of our American Idol/Voice shows. All the contestants were established professionals who had fans in the audience to vote for them. Because Dimash was brought in as the Wild Card Contestant from Kazakhstan, they didn't know what to expect and put him first in the line up. Bwahahahaha!

- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition.
- Sings in genres: pop, rock, classics, crossover (neo-classics), folklore, rap, jazz.
- Singer, composer (wrote music for 10 songs), multi-instrumentalist (dombra, piano, percussion, guitar).
- Has a range of six octaves and one note.
- Notes - A1 (Love Like a Dream), from C2 to D8 (Unforgettable Day) - from baritone to soprano.
- The first performance as a singer is 2010.
- He participated in many competitions both in Kazakhstan and abroad, where he took only the first places.
- Dimash is Kazakh by nationality, speaks and thinks in Kazakh. He speaks Russian fluent language. He is currently studying English and Chinese.

I heard a lot of singer and i liked them all but for Dimash is something different i don't know how he can do all this stuff by being just himself. By the way if you see the lyrics of this song is a very sad song that's why it is named SOS I heard the original but Dimash's version was more emotional and that is because he was felling the song too for me.There is this exact video with lyrics if you want see it to see if you find it that emotional.
Love your reaction!! You have good musical base knowledge too which I appreciate. So this IS a musical competition but not like one you are used too. This competition in China is for primarily for famous Chinese singers who have an established fan base. However, Dimash here was not Chinese. He didn't even speak the language. He was a compete unknown and was just 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show. Those competitors and that audience had no idea what he could do and he blew everyone away.
After this performance aired 10 days later, he was an instant sensation in China. His performance got over 600 million views. They told him that he had to now have body guards where ever he went. In fact he went to a shopping bazaar two days later and people were crowding around him wanting to take pictures and to shake his hand. He couldn't hardly move through the crowd even though he had body guards with him. He loved every minute of it tho. You'll come to find that Dimash really loves his fans and appreciates them.
This show and this performance in particular launched him into stardom with a world wide fan base. He did something like 14 performances on this show and then went on to Conquer all of China and Russia. This was only 3 years ago but he's come a long way from there and he's just getting started.

I am a fan from Utah USA and I have read a good amount of your comments so I won’t repeat any of them but I will just say that the fans of Dimash are very loyal and supportive and wish him the very best. When you react to future videos, be sure to keep your reactions real and ignore any fans that tell you to “not interrupt the video too much“. What ever your reactions are, if you hold back and do not share them with us then you are defeating the purpose of being a first time reactor. I recently filmed myself reacting to a brand new video of his and I made a fool of myself. But I didn’t care. It was authentic and real. If any fans or, Dimash calls us his dears, are negative about you interrupting your viewing with your comments or stopping the video to comment, just ignore them Or remind them and a very sweet way that if they want to hear him uninterrupted they can go to his TH-cam channel. You are in for the ride of your life. This video is the perfect one for a first time reactor but as has been mentioned it is over three years old. Dimash has shocked us with dozens more videos, covers and originals especially from his collaboration with the famous Russian composer and record producer, Igor Krutoy. As time goes on, you will notice a bald gentleman at the piano who came out of his retirement last year to work specifically with Dimash and his amazing unending talent. That is Igor. He is actually more wealthy and well known worldwide than our United States treasure, David Foster. You will learn a lot from his dears as time goes on and be overwhelmed with their knowledge and love for him and their unending support. Dimash Kudaibergen is the greatest singer performer that the world has produced. He promotes his country, Kazakhstan, often with a lot of love and devotion for it and they all agree that he is the best thing that has come from this country to spread goodwill and tourist traffic to them. Most Of his concerts in the past, pre-COVID-19, could boast of fans from 40 to 60 countries flying from all over the world to see him in person. I personally flew from Utah to New York in December to see him at his Barclays concert. I have never wanted to do that for any singer and I have lived two hours away from Celine Dion in Las Vegas for six years. And I think she’s amazing. But she is not other worldly. Bienvenido al mundo DIMASH!!! él esta cantando en el concurso de China en 2017, él fue el único participante de Kazajistán... con ésa canción se presentó en el concurso esa noche y ganó esa primera ronda del concurso... todos quedaron admirados de la voz de Dimash... él se recibió en canto lírico en la universidad... luego se recibió en canto pop en la universidad... habla y canta en varios idiomas, toca varios instrumentos musicales, tiene una voz pulida como un diamante, gracias por reaccionar a él... saludos desde Argentina!

Yep, that was me when I first witnessed this phenomenal singer. It totally blew my mind, I was speechless and realized I was experiencing something out of this world. Yes, he is bringing in the new level of awareness through his heart and voice. If you look back at his history you will see how he evolved to this level of excellence with his voice and his consciousness of his purpose. Welcome to the world of Dimash. Best singer on the planet! You’ve barely scratched the surface of what he can do. He is from Kazakhstan and this was a singing competition in China. The other competitors were all Chinese and famous singers. He was unknown in China and became an overnight sensation. This was in 2017 when he was just 22. He’s even better now! Classically trained since the age of 5 he sings all genres of music. Plays umpteen instruments, sings in 12 languages and composes songs. He’s well known in Asia and Russia and is slowly making a name for himself around the world. He has a massive worldwide fan base and has held concerts in Europe, Asia and the US. Next stop in this competition is Opera 2. Alternatively you could skip a couple of years and view Sinful Passion which shows his full range. First Dimash lesson over! You need to follow his journey to fully comprehend and appreciate him. 😍♥️🇬🇧

I've been listening to Dimash somewhat ardently for the past few years, so please let me recommend for you a few things to look for to get you started. It isn't a complete list, by any means, but I do believe it's varied enough to get you started pretty well. I recommend Ogni Pietra, tremendously powerful; and I recommend the fancam version, where he is seen from very close his dramatic interpretation (there is a version of the fancam but with the sound of a better shot). Other suggestions, from different styles of Dimash: Your Love, an intensity show, Ti amo cosi, a beautiful trio, and Ulisse, a beautiful duo (both operatic as Ogni Pietra). Mademoiselle Hyde, an enveloping dream. Beautiful performance in Sinful Passion and Love is Like a Dream (until tears), and great playful juggling in Opera 2 and Diva Dance. And I recommend you to read a translation of the lyrics in each one so that you see the appropriateness of the interpretation to it. They are all wonderful and each one will surprise you.

The other singers were all famous Chinese recording artists. The lady who won has recorded more than 30 albums and has been a professional singer for several decades. This was the first year the show had a foreign contestant, Dimash, who was also the youngest contestant in the history of the show. No one had ever heard of him, and he didn't have a single album. I'm actually surprised they let him come in second, but his talent leaves them no choice. Three years later he sold out a 19,000 seat venue in NYC.
So Dimash’s voice resonates very much with the voice of the Universe. It is no coincidence that we say cosmic voice. ❤
