Hiya paul yeah I totally agree not bad for the price hope you're keeping well look forward to your next video 🤗
Hi Paul I have been looking forward to your new Blackpool series. It's brilliant there are new hotels being built it shows businesses see Blackpool is worth investing in. Holiday Inn got it's name from the 1942 musical. The decor is really soothing and cosy and the foyer has a relaxing vibe. Your room was great, the facilities good and all designed with comfort in mind. Pricing is great for 2 but I think they should come up with better deals for 1 person. Their brekkie should be better quality for a £10. A really interesting video, thank you.
I stayed in May and will be staying again in December. It is an excellent hotel. I used to stay in the Hampton Hilton, another good hotel, except for the location, on its own with no shops near, unlike the Holiday Inn that is surrounded by shops.
I find the bacon in all hotels is inedible. So crisp like plastic. You can snap it in two. However the fresh fruit and pastries were good, as were the scrambled egg, sausages and hash browns.
I always go down for breakfast as soon as they open so around 7-10am The food is fresh and there are no crowds. For me it is the best hotel in Blackpool.
Mate it’s a Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express, part of the IHG chain. Immaculate properties and tightly managed in a good way for consistency. One of my favourite brand of hotels because you know it’s of a high standard of cleanliness, you know how the bed feels, you know what to expect. I’ve noticed you’ve stayed on a few IHG properties. Best thing you can do is join their loyalty program. I’ve gone higher and joined Intercontinental Ambassador which provides incredible benefits even at lower Holiday Inn/Express properties. As I said good value, consistent standard. Highly recommended.
Nice Hotel everything nice and fresh and clean food looked ok love your reviews thanks 🤩
That room looks really nice Paul. I would stay there, but as you said, for solo travellers it is a bit unfair about the pricing. Handy for public transport. Look forward to your Blackpool series videos. Many thanks.
Hi Paul I’m Ian Bayly. I’m autistic and your videos help me with my anxiety when I can’t get to the beach as the beach helps my anxiety. I stayed at this holiday inn in September. Had a double room. Paid about £300 for 4 nights. I loved it. It has 24 hour room service and a little gym as well. My favourite hotel in Blackpool is the big blue. You said in the video it was Monday into Tuesday you were there. On Monday this week just gone I was on a bus on my way to Blackpool north station about 7pm to get a train home after being there last weekend for the fireworks. Love your videos. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
Thank you
Hi Paul excellent video the holiday inn in blackpool looks excellent the room looks really smart and clean and tidy and the bathroom looks spotless and well presented the storage space is excellent to the air conditioning is excellent to the view outside the windows over to blackpool north train station the downstairs area looks really smart and the breakfast was excellent choice happy dayz thanks Paul excellent video take care pal from Keith 👍👍
Looks good - cheaper than I expected. The pricing structure is normal however... you pay for the room regardless of how many staying, unless it's a place that includes breakfast...See Ibis, Premier Inn, Travelodge etc.
No biscuits on that tea tray i notice😕 looks ok pretty generic chain hotel but something new for Blackpool 🍻
Hotel great location Paul, I'd skip breakfast and go in the Premier in for it 😉
Hi poul So glad you did the holiday inn so i could see what the rooms are like mite go there next year with my wife love watching your video
Hi Paul,
Nice hotel but as you said it's brand new, so it should be. Nice and bright , the room was quite spacious. The price was very good, I can see, why one person would be annoyed. Bit of a joke £10pds extra for two ppl. Enjoyed your review Paul.
Hi paul love these Blackpool videos mate am staying in this holiday inn next july for 10 days thanku fir the video mate
I love Blackpool so glad you’re doing this review.
Evening Paul the premier in It's only a 3 minute walk to the North pier. And the breakfast is a lot better plus right next to a Tram, stop. And all the Pubs and bars are only a free minute walk as well. So would recommend that one
It looks lovely Paul all shiny and new would feel very comfy there only the breakfast let it down xxx
Hi Paul another great video the hotel look lovely really nice and the price was very good has well I like black pool really nice 😊
Thanks Paul quite happy to to stay there a few nights but don't think I'd have the breakfast price is OK but don't think it's fair for the solo traveller ❤❤
hi a great video and what a lovely hotel and room.
Nice hotel 🏨 Paul another great video , a tad expensive for the single person, x but hey ho , , another good informative honest vlog , keep up the good work 😊
Hi paul very nice hotel l prefer cooked breakfast brought to your table
Im the same with my eggs, in fact their isnt anything I like thats swimming in oil lol, apart from that the room is lovely & modern. Maybe do a review same time next year & see :P I agree there should be a reduction for single occupiers as only one bed will be used, less laundry & housekeeping so yeah, not bad Paul, thanks for sharing your review :)
I follow you Paul and overall this is a fair and honest review. We live in Blackpool and go out at least once a week for a few drinks before moving on for a meal. And it’s not unusual for us to start off in the Holiday Inn in their bar. Hotel prices I know. Staff friendly and we’ve also had a meal in Marco’s that was very good. You mentioned a great location but I didn’t agree with a couple of bars and restaurants close by and the Tower about 15 minutes away. 6 or 7 minutes maybe. The Holiday Inn has lots of bars, cocktail bars, wine bars, pubs quality restaurants, many within a few minutes to 5 minutes. Just my opinion as a local.
There are bars close by Ms Kelly there a pub by Sainsbury's restaurant maybe not and depends on mobility walking could be 15 minutes
I would definitely consider staying here even though it's pricing is unfair on single travellers.🤬🤬.. Thanks for video and review👍
Great video Paul, thanks
Nice one Paul 👍👍
We've stayed in a few Holiday Inn Hotels around the country and thought they were really good for the price. Couldn't complain about the breakfasts either as they were all good and no complaints. Maybe this one needs a few tweaks as its quite new. Just wondering if you had a feedback form so you could make a comment on the breakfast? It doesn't really encourage the solo travellers though to book which is a shame as you might just want a bit of time to yourself 🙁
Love the video paul your room was really nice lovely hotel inside the breakfast could have been better
Nice room and hotel, but it's what you would expect for a new hotel. Great location by the train and tram stations.
Reminds me on hotel in Cartagena )
Hi I live 'down south' and always like to see what other places in the UK are like. I gather there's a Premier Inn, is there a Travelodge in Blackpool? What is the town like?
There's a shopping centre and I have done beach walkabout check them videos out
There a premier inn about a 3 min walk from holiday inn. There a Travelodge near pleasure beach and another Travelodge opposite Blackpool football clubs stadium. Blackpool stadium Travelodge is about a 20 min walk from tower. There is a tram stop about a 5 min walk to pleasure beach Travelodge. Hope this helps.
Evenin oh no cannot eat breakie like that 🤑 the room is lovely BUT to me the Premier Inn has sea view views which I like but that’s me !! going back to the holiday inn yea it don’t look bad tbh that is so nice you mentioning the cleaner no one ever mentions the cleaners I’m a cleaner and know how much work goes into making a room nice and clean because if they hadn’t come in your room would not of looked like that till the next one 😊
It’s a nice hotel breakfast could be better especially the hot food.
NICE ENOUGH BUT A BIT PRICEY FOR BLACKPOOL BUT THEN AGAIN IT'S A NEW HOTEL.
As a disabled person please review any hotel with the idea you can not walk very far or not at all. You need to ask about mobility scooter charging points and can a pavement ( 4 MPH ) scooter fit in the lift. Do they cater for pet owner as some disabled people have a service dog ? These are things which are missing from people who do reviews and it would help other disabled people find a good hotel.
Unfortunately I do hotel reviews not disability reviews I do touch on basics but my video have limited content refer to relevant hotel websites for mobility information
Hi Paul just wanted to ask you when you did your review of the joy and friends 1 in los Cristianos which booking agent did you use thanks ros
Think it was booking.comm
Thank you for the reply and I read somewhere that there are camcorders in use in the apartment is this ture and I love watching your reviews that why I am asking for this one I would like to book it for 28days I hope thanks Paul and look forward to watching more of your reviews I liked the new Blackpool hotel keep up the good work 👏
Lovely hotel and I like Blackpool but it’s not Los christianos
Have you looked to see if you would get a better deal in a single room instead of a twin
That's not how I do my channel I show either a double or twin because 95% travel in twos
I have to question a/c in Britain looks like every other holiday Inn hotel. Characterless. Otherwise clean and ok
What about car parking.
No car parking at hotel I don't think so
Check website
Just returned from Holiday Inn Blackpool, you can park in Talbot Road multi storey car park for £10 for 24hrs you get a yellow token as you enter car park give this token to hotel reception and they validate it it so you pay the reduced rate.
@@janey21 thank you
I wouldnt be paid to stay in Blackpool,,,,,its a dump
I'm not a great fan of blackpool
