Of course it’s going to be dead at 7 o’ clock on a January evening on the sea front. All the golden oldies who go to Benidorm in January will be queuing up for their dinner at the hotel buffets 😂

I was there same time as you paul i thought was really busy expecially old town great vibes.

We live close to Benidorm and always visit this period. We departed on the 7th.That is the ending of the Spanish Fiestas.The town goes quiet from then on until February.The sea front bars mainly close when the sun goes down in winter period My impression is that it was far more busy this year than previous years.The restaurants and bars were definitely more busy.

We booked to go 20 th January.. Price is good . Try York prices . If want just Sun . Not good .

During the day, the " Prom " is busy. At night, the older generation, go back to their hotels, and don't come out again. The younger generation, move back, to the " Strip ". So with no people, on the " Prom", the bars and cafes close. Makes sense to me.

Hi Paul wish I was walking down that promenade not long now though roll on the beginning of April 10 days of lovely warm sunshine (hopefully) it's the 11th of January and it is freezing definitely can't walk down the mouth promenade it's so icy not even the salt from the se is stopping the ice. It's a great hotel catering mostly for the Brits, stayed there many times ..think you're wrong about the yellow brick road at night never heard of anyone being mugged or beaten up and like I said I've stayed there many times

Who'd have thought a primarily holiday vacation resort to be empty of people in January, shock horror! the med is cold and wet in January no point going there until late April..

I think the staff from bars and hotels deserve a rest and do some repairs only time really it can be done

This was a lovely relaxing video Paul, nice to hear you chatting it's a shame so many bars are having to close. I really enjoyed hearing the crashing waves, it looks like a pleasant, peaceful walk, I tried to imagine how it must have been when it was thriving, hopefully it will improve as the season approaches. Good to see it busier at the old town. Thank you Paul it gave me a chance to have some me time, my son and daughter in law's washing machine broke so they were here doing lots of washing 😂 take care x
