@1984HasCome Mate have you just arrived? This is about Jon refusing to even consider fighting him AFTER this Stipe fight. That's what everyone is angry about
@@harrymail7 So people are angry that Jon want to fight Alex Pereira after Miocic if he wins? How about we focus on the actual fight that's happening tomorrow?
Jon has every tool? The man literally has pillow hands. Jon has the best fight IQ? If the fight isnt going his way, his default is to start poking people in the eye, thats not fight IQ, its cheating.
@@Juel92 Based on what. 90% of the people he has faced he has had obvious physical advantages over. You dont need a good fight IQ when you have 10 inches in reach on someone. Fight IQ is demonstrated when you are losing and make adjustments, or when you have someone opposite you of equal skill and size and you need to use your superior understand to beat them. Jon never demonstrates this as he takes on people who are usually small, old, both or just not that good.
Stipe has a family dinner Jon jones "how dare you have a happy family, you know what you did its personal now! That was your first mistake 2nd mistake was calling me a bitch!"
If Jones leaves without fighting Tom, it's like Khabib retiring early. If he clears Aspinall (who cleared the rest of the division basically), there can be no more doubters after that.
I would have loved for Stipe to explain what his meaning to Jon. "No, I didnt mention ur kids! Mine dont see me as an a**hole but most people, me included, think that u are one!"
Yes, there have been but not this blatantly obvious 1. GSP ducked Whittaker & Romero after beating Bisping but everyone forgave him since he vacated the belt & retired. 2. Jones ducked Ngannou but everyone chalked that up to "retirement" 3. Merab is currently ducking Umar but he just won the belt so most fans are overlooking that. 4. Pereira's ducking Ankalaev but Ankalaev's also partly to blame for that cuz he refused to fight Pereira anywhere else but in the UAE. There are several more examples but none AS BLATANT as a current champion who hasn't fought in 622 days (and counting) ducking the Interim champion of his division.
I am Greek living in Germany, i root for Tom, he in my eyes represents the fighting sport of MMA the best, cool down to earth guy, and a menace in the octagon.
I don’t think the Aspinall situation was ever only a UK thing; any MMA fan that has seen that man’s rise knows what’s what. Even if you haven’t seen Tom fight once, you will see that he defended the damn interim belt and immediately know there’s some Dana Whiteiness happening.
Jones’ ‘legacy’ is cheating (steroids, eye pokes) and being a dirty fighter (kicking in people’s knees with his insanely long legs) all while having the biggest god given advantage over everybody he has fought: 84.5 inch reach while being able to easily make 205. Jones got beat by Reyes but was gifted a decision. Jones ducked Ngannou and is now ducking Aspinall. Jones waited 3 years for an easy match-up at Heavyweight in Gane. Jones has mainly been fighting old past their prime 185 pound fighters at 205 while juiced up throughout his career.
Crying about kicking peoples knees? Cmon man. It’s a perfectly legal kick and it’s a sport where people get flatlined with knockout punches and head kicks, bones broken, what about Paul Craig breaking jahmal hill’s arm? Was he supposed to just say “aw you not going to tap??? Al just release this submission. Say what you will about Jones but stop crying about a perfectly legal kick that’s been in MMA since the dawn of its existence. Khalil rountree finished an opponent with an oblique kick was that dirty or is it fair play because he isn’t Jon Jones?
For a guy with his username as “wise” you aren’t very wise. Read up on the rules, oblique kick is allowed, it’s not Jon’s fault he’s genetically gifted with long legs and happens to be the best at it.
Also, absolutely ridiculous to try and diminish Jones resume. Was Lyotto Machida past his prime? Was Shogun past his prime? Was Rampage Jackson past his prime? Rashad Evans past his prime? What about DC was he past his prime as well? What about Gus, he certainly wasn’t past his prime and gave Jon an absolute war. Just say you hate Jon Jones bro it’s okay to hate him but when you start to diminish a legacy it’s insulting to every fighter on that resume who are all household names, and if that’s part of your argument then realistically you can say “who’s Tom Aspinall fought? The best win he has is ether Sergie Pavlovich or Curtis Blaydes.” It’s a BS point to make especially when if you actually pay attention during fight weeks people weren’t saying these fighters were all washed past their prime then. Stop with the BS.
Even saying Gane is an easy match up, like he was ranked number 1 in the heavyweight division. Since when has the number 1 contender EVER been an easy fight?
He is literally admitting to ducking when he says after Stipe, he would go back down to his original weight class to try to fight the top contenders there, over defending his title against THE top contender at heavyweight.
People will not forget, people will not forgive, the most frustrating part, he's literally choosing the path that will harm his career in the long run: Beating Aspinall would make him even more legendary. Losing to Aspinall while being gracious in defeat, praising Aspinall, not only does NOT hurt his legacy but it actually would help his image a lot, if he played his cards right people would be "you know what , Jon is more mature, he's not as bad as I thought, he made mistakes in the past but he's not that guy anymore..." And he would still be in the conversation for GOAT, people would appreciate him having the balls of being the bigger man. Not fighting Aspinall he will always be remember as the DUCK, especially when he keeps making excuses that make no sense, everytime people would talk about him as the GOAT someone will mention this Aspinall circus and about his cowardice. Again, he's literally choosing the worst path for him and his legacy 🤷♂️
Jones is accumulating layer after layer of contradiction, desperately clawing at the air trying to find something substantial to grasp onto to get him out of this hole and only ever digging deeper and deeper. I expect Poatan to drop a withering one-word demolition of Jones by changing his catchphrase 'Chama' to 'Karma'.
Thank y'all so much for this. I like watching Jon Jones fight personally, but he's straight up making an ass of himself. Ducked a fight, ducked an interview, ducked a damn handshake for Christ sakes.
No one at any level gives a fuck about the Stipe fight. Stipe had his time, proved his greatness, but is obviously well past his prime. The golden rule has always been "to BE the man, you have to BEAT the man," and Jon is just pissing all over the spirit of that
Jones just needs to fight Aspinal now. He could still very much win, which is the insane part to me. If Jones beats Aspinal, then it just verifies everything he's been talking.
He never said “I’m so good I’m going to get drunk”. He did it as a defense mechanism!!! Stop twisting the facts- and also, he was NEVER scheduled to fight Aspinall. It was always Stipe. Jeez 🙄
UFC: We'll give Jon Jones the fight he wants because he is the greatest pound for pound fighter and ignore the fans. Also UFC via Jon Anik "We never take your viewership for granted," while not giving the fans the fight they're asking for.
Does people not know he is fighting Miocic? It has been scheduled a long time ago at a time where Tom wasn't even a contender, he had just lost to Curtis Blayde a few months before where he got injured.
I’m not much of a Jon fan but if u actually watched the whole interview he said Hill as but used his name as a hypothetical of that he actually wanted to fight him
If he were capable of that, then he'd have already fought him. That said, there's always the chance for anyone to knock out their opponent. Can't wait for you to go missing when Tom bodies Jones.
If he wants to win he'll wrestle and possibly ground and pound. If he wants to bet against himself in vegas Tom will KO him. But no mistake the fight goes exactly which way Jon wants it to go.

I would respect him more if he fights Tom and gets flattened than if he retires after Stipe.
@@Juel92ya. Thats the issue now. One loss and it ruins your career. Fedor lost a to. When he got old but he fought and that’s what matters. everyone gets old.
@@johnbutler2780 One loss doesn't really ruin a career. Fedor is often said to be the greatest HW of all time and he lost many fights.
And by ducking Jon has already lost in basically everyone's eyes.
Jon has always a slimy person
Jon Jones “WTF DANA, how am I supposed to poke Stipe in the eye with these gloves?!”
Dana: “OH SHIT, I’m sorry son. It hasn’t been important since you left. Let me fix this. NEW GLOVES REVOKED. BACK TO POKEY FINGERS GLOVES”
Jon "The Mighty Duck" Jones
🦆
I think he’s purposely being abrasive and ridiculous but genuinely isn’t sure what his next move is. If he fights Tom this is good promotion if he retires he’ll feel good enough with stipe on the record
This is definitely a fair analysis
Legacy? As far as I understand evolution chickens and ducks can never become goats.
Neither can PED cheats.
It's that Jon Jones is absolutely fucking terrified of Aspinal. That's all it's ever been.
Bones is the GOAT of dirty fighting... we need Referees that will penalize his dirty tactics.
If Stipe brings the belt back to Cleveland again, I don't know if I'll ever accept that anyone else is ever going to be a better Heavyweight
It’s called gaslighting
🦆 🦆 🦆 🐤 🐤 🐤 🧍♀️ 🥊 👩 🚗 💉 💉 💉
If you think about it isnt Stipe just a bigger, older, stronger, more experienced Reyes?
Unfortunately also nowhere near as hungry as Reyes was when he beat Jones.
The most disputed MMA champion of all time Johhny 'quack quack' Jones 🦆
0:45 a few? Try the whole crowd homie 😂😂😂
Jon Jones always walks out of that room (since Aspinall's not in it) 🦆
The little respect I had for Jon Jones is completely gone he's really ducking Tom Aspinall the fight everyone wants.🤦🏾♂️
That's crazy, Stipe has been fighting the champion or defending his belt for 10 years whilst Tom has never even fought anyone who fought for the belt once even less one who was a champion at any time.
@1984HasCome Mate have you just arrived?
This is about Jon refusing to even consider fighting him AFTER this Stipe fight. That's what everyone is angry about
@@harrymail7 So people are angry that Jon want to fight Alex Pereira after Miocic if he wins? In my opinion, it is a more prestigious opponent because he is the undisputed champion and has defended his belt many times. I know Jones is great but asking for Jones vs Aspinal as if Miocic had absolutely no chance is a huge dissrespect to Miocic, everything can happen in a fight. How about we focus on the actual fight that's happening tomorrow?
Tom is too young and big! Now that smaller guy with no ground game. That small guy is bigger than me so he can come to heavyweight.
Jon has every tool? The man literally has pillow hands.
Jon has the best fight IQ? If the fight isnt going his way, his default is to start poking people in the eye, thats not fight IQ, its cheating.
He actually has great fight IQ beyond eye pokes. I hate to say it because I hate him but it's true.
Aspinall cant find him if hes in here 📦
The sad part is Jones trying to make this personal by accusing Stipe for talking about his kids.
12:12 that may be the first time, in six years of watching this channel, that I’ve heard Jason genuinely laugh. What a moment ❤️
Jon Jones is gonna say that he wants to fight Aspinal but he’s not getting offered enough money for it, and so he’s never gonna end up fighting him
Stipe has a family dinner
Jon jones "how dare you have a happy family, you know what you did its personal now! That was your first mistake 2nd mistake was calling me a bitch!"
If Jones leaves without fighting Tom, it's like Khabib retiring early. If he clears Aspinall (who cleared the rest of the division basically), there can be no more doubters after that.
@@mtgmac1 Cant compare him with Khabib. Totally different Situations
You guys give jones too much credit hes an awful person and not close to goat 4 failed drug tests 😂
Right? How does everyone just sweep the failed PED tests under the rug?
I would have loved for Stipe to explain what his meaning to Jon.
"No, I didnt mention ur kids! Mine dont see me as an a**hole but most people, me included, think that u are one!"
Been waiting for a podcast vid from you lot. My favourite ones you do. Keep them rolling
His fabric a fake.
How am I fake Paul?
Can Jon just stop running and steamroll Tom, please? The dude is the goat, but damn he's a cancer to this sport sometimes
Just for discussion, has there been other obvious examples of champions ducking the #1 contender or interim champion?
Yeah probably but at the end of the day they normally cave if the UFC is set on it
Yes, there have been but not this blatantly obvious
1. GSP ducked Whittaker & Romero after beating Bisping but everyone forgave him since he vacated the belt & retired.
2. Jones ducked Ngannou but everyone chalked that up to "retirement"
Bisping ducked Romero and then fought GSP instead of interim champ Robert Whittaker.
@@sarmadhabibkhan3036
Actually, there was a blatant example, GDR ducking Cyborg.
This channel actually did a list on exactly that.
Jones is simply trying to get as much money as possible from the UFC for the Aspinall fight
Jon 🦆 Jones
It would be hilarious if Aspinall loses his next 2 fights like Pavlovich who a year ago was hyped as the guy Jones was ducking.
I am Greek living in Germany, i root for Tom, he in my eyes represents the fighting sport of MMA the best, cool down to earth guy, and a menace in the octagon.
Remember when Jon was loved and DC was hated ? Crazy that now he’s in the same seat DC was but compared to back then he’s chilled out
Jon’s gonna get paid big for the fight with Tom.
This is what the sheeple don't understand.. nobody would have cared about this fight otherwise
That look that jon gave when Dana said that was him trying to find ways to get out of the fight
Ducked Francis and now Tom. Legend...
If Jones has been trolling this whole time and actually plans on fighting Aspinall then it is without a doubt the best self promotion I’ve ever seen
Change this username to “Stupid101” if this is a serious take.
Even saying Gane is an easy match up, like he was ranked number 1 in the heavyweight division. Since when has the number 1 contender EVER been an easy fight?
He is literally admitting to ducking when he says after Stipe, he would go back down to his original weight class to try to fight the top contenders there, over defending his title against THE top contender at heavyweight.
great observation at 3:50 , DC just got done asking that same question
People will not forget, people will not forgive, the most frustrating part, he's literally choosing the path that will harm his career in the long run:
Beating Aspinall would make him even more legendary.
When he says so often that he's seeing this from a "business perspective" I only believe the things that align with that.
Tom knows he wouldn't sign the contract.... He's def not walking out of that room
No one at any level gives a fuck about the Stipe fight. Stipe had his time, proved his greatness, but is obviously well past his prime.
The golden rule has always been "to BE the man, you have to BEAT the man," and Jon is just pissing all over the spirit of that
Dude went from legacy fights only to calling out Jamal Hill, he's scared.
Love the title because it’s such a genuine question atp 😂
It’s not just a British thing. Americans also believe Aspinal should be next. He is the interim champ.
Stipe by ko, imagrint mentality!
I love that Aspinall is starting to get to Jones. He won't be able to duck him without vacating the belt.
Jeez 🙄
Imagine he fights magomed at light heavyweight and he still has to wait again
Almost had this exact conversation verbatim with my brother yesterday.
"Heart says ass" Same bro, same.
UFC: We'll give Jon Jones the fight he wants because he is the greatest pound for pound fighter and ignore the fans.
Also UFC via Jon Anik "We never take your viewership for granted," while not giving the fans the fight they're asking for.
Jones absolutely buys into his own bs. He also believes we do too.
Does people not know he is fighting Miocic? It has been scheduled a long time ago at a time where Tom wasn't even a contender, he had just lost to Curtis Blayde a few months before where he got injured.
Just wait and see who wins the fight first. One thing about mixed martial arts fans is when people like a particular fighter. They bring so much hype.
It’s so funny how good Jon Jones is at this fight game… He has you all crying and screaming… Yes guys, he’s terrified of Tom Aspinal… Terrified 😂😂
Jon saw dominant champs like Volk and Usman get smashed and realized his time was also coming.
I fully expect him to throw the fight so that he doesn't have to fight Tom.
The guy in the maroon shirt seems to be making the most reasonable arguments here
I’m not much of a Jon fan but if u actually watched the whole interview he said Hill as but used his name as a hypothetical of that he actually wanted to fight him
Jon wakes up post stipe win at #11 P4P while Tom skyrockets to #1
I’m saving this video. I swear to god if Jones sleeps Tom I don’t wanna hear a damn thing!
Genuinely half convinced that this is all a set up to generate heat and he's planning to beat Stipe, turn to the crowd and callout Aspinall directly. Surely one of the most dominant ufc champions ever can't be THIS pathetic, right??
