The interim UFC Heavyweight Champ has his name in people's mouths just about as much as the pair in the main event. Aspinall spoke exclusively with The Post about the drama at heavyweight, his time in New York, as well as spreading awareness for autism.

There are top-10 guys now who wouldn't even have been ranked at the time Stipe was coming up. Stipe's come up was full of killers, and yes...Stipe started a bit later than most. Tom’s resume is in a very shit HW division now if you look at its history.

Damn, the guy can talk well too. I don't think I've ever seen someone like him in the heavyweight division. He'll end up losing at some point (everyone at heavyweight does at some point), but he does have the potential to at least be amongst the best heavyweights ever.
He has ran through everyone, there is no one on the current roster who can beat him and no one from Contender series this year looks like they can either.

I’ve spent a long time defending Jon, I can defend most things. But ducking Tom is something I can’t do and after this week I just want him to go away now.
Aside from the Jon situation I think Tom is a hell of a guy and a world class fighter. Probably will be considered the Heavy Weight GOAT in the coming years.
