Glad it was helpful! I would say when building a portfolio, focus on the area that you are most interested in and offer your services starting off with close friends and family, those in their immediate network, internships and previous jobs you've had. These all count, even your own campaigns and tests that you've done to learn from. One of my portfolio in the early days was my own accounts and those I did pro bono for a charity in my area.

I was interested in paid media but I heard you need a registered business to run Google ads. Is that true? I only plan to use my blog and I don't expect to make any money.

Is a bachelors degree required in general though? Really interested in being a digital marketer but my highest education is high school and I feel like it’s almost too late for college

You can do several of the ways I mentioned in the video, especially creating your own portfolio of clients (initially for free) and then also doing side projects to boost your experience. Hope this helps and wishing you all the best in this journey!
