I just got an 88 fiero with a 350 chevy in it, I had an idea on what I wanted to do but no solid plan until now. This is 100% what I want to do with it now this is amazing. Thank you sooo much for the inspiration, can't wait to see more parts and see this car get finished up great work.

The front suspension is Chevette. A car every other country grew to appreciate, so there has the be an aftermarket somewhere.
Hey there, we're back! FINALLY! For your comment, yes, there is a few aftermarket options but still based on much older technology and around the original geometry. For this application, we just thought easier to upgrade and replace everything. This gives the car better brakes, and better wheel pattern options. Thank you so much for your comment! @@actionstuntgarage Of course, and it's probably more convenient. I was just saying that they race them in europe as the Chevette and Kadet, so parts shouldn't be too difficult. Can't wait to see it all nice and pretty.

SORRY TO RAIN ON YOUR PARADE BUT, THE FRONT C6 SUSPENSION MADE FOR THE CORVETTE, IT WILL HAVE THE STEERING GEOMETRY ANGLES FOR THAT CAR, THE FIERO CENTER REAR WHEEL KEY POINT FOR ACKERMANN LINKAGE WONT BE THE SAME, THIS MEANS THAT WHEN YOU TAKE A CORNER AFTER ALL IS INSTALLED WONT BE THE CORRECT FRONT WHEEL ANGLES IN RESPECT TO THE 2 CIRCLE PATHS THAT THE 2 FRONT WHEELS NEED TO MAKE EVERY CORNER YOU MAKE WILL WEAR THE FRONT TIRES AND IT WILL INFACT BE AN UNSTABLE CAR UNTIL YOU FIGURE OUT THE THE CORRECT TIE ROD LENGTHS AND CONTROL ARM ANGLES FOR THE NEW FIERO CONFIG, YET ANOTHER PROBLEM TO OVERCOME, BEFORE THIS IS A CORRECT FIT UPGRADE
THE NEW SOLUTION TO RESPECT IS:
THE 2 PIVOT POINTS THAT MOVE TURN THE FRONT WHEEL NEEDS TO LINE UP TO THE CENTER
OF THE BACK WHEELS, THIS CORRECT GEOMETRY AND IS NOT KNOWN TO MANY PEOPLE

OR OPTION 2 IS DONT CHANGE ANY GEOMETRY
BUT THEN KNOW THAT YOUR 2 FRONT WHEELS DURING CORNERING WILL INFACT NOT BE CORRECT
AND THAT YOU WONT HAVE A REAL STABLE CAR

Bump!!! I love this project... I was wondering if you are continuing with the project and adding some video in the near future? I hope all is well and that we are going to get an amazing video sowing progress and a successful install of the suspension you have scavenged from a vette.

Just fit a c5 front suspension into my 87 fiero. It was no easy task, I narrowed the aluminum subrame and grafted the vette frame rails into the fiero unibody. Its getting a mustang power rack and also had to convert to hydroboost brake as the vetter frame rail leaves no room for a vacuum booster.

With your skills, you could have built from scratch a whole new chassis to bolt your Corvette subframes to.
