In the Mazak 640 t system, how to set the tools so that they change without moving to the tool change point, I would like the head to rotate close to the workpiece, without moving away. It was fine, and now the head runs away behind the tailstock to change the tool.

Ok cool. But I'm a beginner, and what if I want a corner radius on the outer edge, leading into a radius down to Z0X0? Meaning the face isn't square, it's slightly round. Would I still use "Face"? Will that get me a corner to another radius? Or maybe "Bar"? Something so simple is totally stumping me.
+Resbel64 honestly you would have to call Mazak and take a course with my luck I had a guy who fixes my machines use to work with Mazak for 25 years and taught me the Mazatrol controller I don't know everything but I program pretty good with the basic of machining still learning everyday honestly it's always good when you have the machine in front of you to mess with

Isn't X forward and backward and Z left and right with a Mazak? Z is vertical on other machines.
