    Morning John, nice video. I tried ribs a couple of weeks ago for first time. Mine came out so-so, a little on the dry side. Glad to see your sauce line come out, I will order when my current sausces are gone.

      Thanks Steve! It definitely took me a while (and a few gross racks of ribs) to get them right. Once you get it down, you'll never look back!

    I just got my Savannah. I am going to try small rack of ribs. At 225 will it smoke or I have see so many people say smoke at 180 max P settings for 45-60 mins. Which do you think I better?

      I would never use the max P setting. Honestly I keep it at factory default.

    Great video! Had a question on the process. After saucing the ribs did you put them directly back in the grate or kept them in the pan where you sauced on the grate? Thanks.

      Good question! I sauced them and then put them directly back on the grates until the sauce was baked on.

    I'm still waiting to see you use the smoker section of the Lockhart more. I feel like it's almost useless so I'd like to get more use out of it.
    How about cooking ribs in it as a start?

      I'll definitely post a video on that. In my own personal experience, it's been used far more as a warming oven than a dedicated smoker. Mostly because of the heat differential between that and the main chamber, I'd go through a lot more pellets getting it to the temp I want. But when I have the need to use it when the main chamber is full, I'll definitely do it!

    Does the Savannah work with the pit boss app?

      It doesn’t. The Savannah is not a WiFi enabled grill.

      I don't. I usually use the 2-2 method at 250. Personal preference I guess!
