    Now that's what I call a useful tutorial. Not the usual blah blah, what the machine is aimed for, what it can do in general, what the knobs and ports are for etc. but straight to the heart of the matter. Thanks, Sir!

      Thanks I am trying to show how to use the unit step by step. That doesn't mean that there won't be music in the tutorial but thanks for the comment.

      Right on. Yeah, I had a good first impression with it too. Today I made progress (after watching this video) with sections and going back and editing the different sequences. But still wrapping my brain around that workflow a bit.

    Please, I only want to know if it possible to connect a piano using MIDI or usb port and make recordings on the verselab from the piano?

    Before you select different sounds for the kick and snare tracks, why do you hit "Section Select" and go later back to "Note" again? Could not find a difference when skipping these steps.

  • @Teddyrobinson

    I've been trying to get a few questions answered forever:
    1. Can you record, put together and save your own sampled kits?
    2. Can you merge vocal takes? For people that record bar for bar.

    • @paigeandderson
      @paigeandderson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can put your own sample kit together. Yes you will be Tracking your vocal in the vocal take track. Now you may need to track closer to 4-8 bars sections as you have 16 tracks to complete the task. But, I have tracked out Verse one using 4 pads 1-4 then verse two using 4 pads 5-8 then bouncing that information to track 15. Erasing the information on those pads. Or, lately saving the Project renaming the Project. Then erasing the pads used. Then tracking all my chorus adlib parts. Bouncing that information to track pad 16. So, after all that Yes you can.

    Is there a better / faster. way to edit sample start and end points. Other than holding shift.
    It takes FOREVER .
    I had a 12 second sample copied it to 16 pads
    Wanted to edit each individually, because slice is kinda hit or miss .

  • @ericwells7209
    @ericwells7209 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have all of your videos dealing with the verselab, but I have one question as I have tired to figure it out but can’t, when you are working with a kit and you want to adjust the volume let’s say on the hihats, why does it adjust the volume automatically on everything else, is it a way to just individually make adjustments for one pad in kit mood and not effect the whole kit, I’m talking volume control, thanks.

    • @paigeandderson
      @paigeandderson  ปีที่แล้ว +1
